I like what Yao said about Steve coming back. Said something like Steve is still the same and how him and Steve are the only guys left from the "old days" :(

I also thought it was really sad when Steve was asked about how he felt when the crowd cheered him. :(

you know I'm really liking our team, especially our "big 3" of rafer, james, and francis. I dunno I just really like how these 3 point guards feel and stuff. I can't explain it. I just really like having these 3. I think they coexist and compliment each other very well. alston is the best ball handler/distributer, james is the quickest/best shot, francis is the toughest/best finisher. and I like their dynamic personalities too. I think that is my favorite section of this team.

ya i love our pg trio. rafer is so much better in the full court ... who woulda guessed??? and james brings that swagger back, and it's nice just to see francis happy again reuniting with yao. cant wait till he finds the right balance between playing his game and the team game. he's kind of settling on some parts of the game. he can do so much more ...

also, the defence isn't half bad for these 3 pgs.

and it seems as though they're hitting their long range shots so far. james has missed some that he's proven he can make ... but how awesome will it be to see how good they'll be come playoff time.

Thanks Hilltopper. Seriously why do I even check ESPN.com anymore? News here get circulated faster.

I think his vocabulary improved but for the life of me it is so hard to understand him mumbling those words!!! First Hakeem and now Yao. We need to find a great center that's actually from here after Yao is retires in 20 years.

I wonder how come The Scholar's English is so good compared to other International players when they are in their first year. Maybe Euroleague? Yao played lots of international ball too didn't he, before he came here?

This team could be a monster. And a take no prisoner attitude. The swagger and chipp on their shoulder attiutude is great. Starting with Bonzi, he has it, Steve has it, Scola, Rafter, James, Shane and Yao looks tougher and stronger. Now, if we can get that "your not gonna get one up on me" attitude to rub off on T-mac. Not to dogg T-mac, but I'd like to see him have a killer instinct EVERY night. Go Rockets!! It's Time!!

BTW, Thanks Clutch! This is my first post here

Rick took the reigns off of him to let him do wha the feels comfortable doing which is push the ball and initiate the break. The fact JVG turned him into a 3 pt shooter last year and the year before gives him more range and he can start driving more on the defense and start creating on the inside... mike james did the best of the 3 last night though penetrating and dishing to yao on the inside and dishing to Scola-Cola.

I think we've done fairly well with the foreign-born centers thus far.
