Totally, cause NO ONE else shaves their head. I must stand out like a.........well.......like a walking penis with a shirt on. "insert rolly eyes"
I've been to TGF on two occasions. I regretted my decision both times. The second time was a couple of years later - I was convinced that I had just had a bad experience and run into someone incompetent. I decide to try them again and I get the exact same results. Can't wait to get out, and I'm off looking for a real barbershop to fix my hair. Ugh. Never again. You couldn't pay me to get a haircut at TGF. Supercuts has been pretty reliable for me. I don't like the fact that I can hardly predict who gets to cut my hair and some are more skilled than others, but at least I can be confident that I'll get a good haircut.
I failed to mention that it includes highlighting/or touch ups, shampooing, a cut and blow drying...i just usually get my haircut with all of that every time i go at upclose beauty down 45 south. i don't know how much they charge for a cut?? the last time was $160 with the full highlights...but with touchups, i think it's about $100. so yeah, i think i'm high maintenance. *whispers* i'm going this Saturday for a touch up!
You guys are some cheap bastards. I am schizophrenic when it comes to hair, though. I pay $55 base for my guy at the salon when my hair is anything longer than 3 inches on top. If I am keeping it shorter, though (as it is now ~2"), I cut it myself. I have mad scissor/razor skills, though, so I don't advise it for you kids at home.
There's a Pakistani salon in katy, Aisha's that does all that for $65-$70 and surprisingly really good. But I don't think guys should spend more than 10 bucks on a simple haircut...
What!!! I get mine washed, styled, and blow dried. My stylist, like my pilates instructor, is a very improtant woman in my life.
I'm not that picky about my hair as long as they don't screw it up too bad... that being said, I used to go to TGF and they usually did a fair job. Then one Sunday they were closed, so I went to Sportclips and have been there since. A little more expensive, but every time they've done better than TGF ever did. TGF was more like an express haircut just to see how fast they could do it. One time I did go to a different Sportclip location and they didn't do as well...the one I go to normally is in Pearland.
i'm 23 and am going bald in the back of my head i don't really care i still think i'm hot , its just so annoying when i go to get my hair cut and the barber is always like "o do u know your hair is really thinning in the back, youre so young too" and then they give me their personal tips on how not to go bald like "you need to comb your hair more" or you need to rub this in your hair LEAVE ME ALONE, JUST CUT MY HAIR I DONT COME TO YOU FOR BEAUTY ADVICE JUST MAKE ME LOOK OK OgoiaheoiH){UGA(*UG)*AU){F(UJA)JDOIJAOXIJDA{UD)(AU)(DUA){(DJA{OIJC){(AJFOAUIHCKJNA){F
Ah, but us long-hairs are quite a bit more picky. My hair is long....nearly at mid-back. When I do actually go to get my ends trimmed or something, I don't mind paying a bit for it seeing as how I only go in once every 6-8 months. I go to Visible Changes. They do good work in the $40-$50 range. That, and the girls are cute.
and which one do you go to? The one i escort someone with, the chicks are usually big butted, thick girls. I want to find a hair stylist with a limp wrist. no seriously, my haircut lady person, is some cute chick, some punk/emo latina chick. I finally got her name, and now I can't think of it for the life of me.
Still go to the place I went in High school. Linda's on Synott. Been to a bunch of other people and they still do the best...and it only cost $5 bucks, $8 if you include tip.
Paging RM95: The "Smoking" chick works at Supercuts in Midtown now. Be sure and grab a tit for me. And then let her know it means nothing.
