Lately my yahoo account has been getting BOMBARDED with spam. They have a good spam filter, but it just puts it all in the 'bulk' folder and I still have to check it to make sure something didnt' get put in there by mistake.

A lot of the subject lines are getting pretty tricky too. Things like "Re: " implying that they are replying to something you sent etc.

How do these so-called companies get your email address? And how do they manage to stay in business? Are there people out there who actually buy things they hear about via spam email?

Worst advice ever. Spamming them back legitimizes your email address and shows them that your email is a working email address. Ever wonder why you get even more spam after unsuscribing from their email lists?

    Switch to Gmail. :D
