    This trade works out for both teams.

    Great Joke, the Lakers don't have the dynasty for no reason at all. Look at the championships. Now , Kupchak isn't a genius but far from stupid.

    Looking at Tmac unable to finish a perfect lob from Yao for an easy slam, I would trade Tmac, Luther, and Rafer to LA for Kobe.

    Kobe: Pros/Cons

    Kobe: Pros/Cons

    If Morey pulls this off, he's a made genius.

    I don't love Kobe, I think he's a mess socially for a team. However, I think some of the things that have happen to him will help him improve in the social arena.

    PROS:
    * Killer mentality to go with Mike James
    * We would have won game 7 with Kobe, Tmac locked up like a Yugo with 100K miles
    * Will open the floor for everyone else
    * Fits Adelman's offense and up tempo style to a T
    * Plays both ends every night
    * No history of injuires - still on upside
    * Give us significant advantage against Dallas and San Antonio
    * Score at will when we need a bucket

    CONS:
    * Potential head case if teams not winning
    * Won't defer to Yao
    * Would have to give up Tmac, Luther, and Rafer or MJ or SF3 to obtain
    * Socially inept

    Kobe would've been good w/ JVG because he could've had the ball all the time but with RA, there's more passing so I'd prefer Tmac

    I prefer TMAC who is a team player. Kobe is a great player, but we don't need him.

    That won't happen. I am afraid Lakers will be more interested in getting Yao.

    You must be kidding. Could you name any coach who doesn't like to have Kobe in his team?

    Tmac or Yao, I'm ok with that. Tmac and Kobe will be a great duo with Scola and Head and Battier.

    Man, that's deep.

    Sure, along with all your imaginary friends who join you in your closet when you're worshipping an a hat autographed by Yao. The Lakers would be glad to have that kind of commitment!
