Columbia University Professor Finds Noose on Office Door

Much ado about some dodo's doo-doo.

Going ballistic over every injustice -- and I agree it was very wrong and deserving of appropriate punishment -- only realistically results in the general populace's ignoring actual rather than perceived threats.

 

I agree, but in this case, this is an actual threat. There's no way to interpret it otherwise. You don't hang a noose on a black man's door unless you are trying to intimidate him and make them afraid of their livelihood.
