That's what we were missing last year. Somebody who can get the whole team INTO the game. Welcome back Stevo the showboat artist :D

He put his hand on the guy's shoulder to prop himself up. That's the difference.

I did not see that. They showed an angle on TV during replays that showed his hand at his side and not the guys shoulder.

He did it at the last minute as he was coming down so he won't hurt himself.

The man definitely has hops :) Its the preseason so the refs are allowed some bad calls. It was a nice dunk, hopefully Francis will get to play more this Thursday.

I missed the game but saw the replay. It was awesome. I hope he plays longer next game so that we can get a better look. Can't wait.

The first time I saw this I was wowed by the athleticism, but it shows something else - his timing and anticipation. If you watch, Steve started running from about 15 feet out and timed it perfectly with Yao's shot coming off the rim.

THAT is why he can rebound like he does - he's like a mini-version of Rodman with the anticipation.

FWIW, he jumped over the guy, so I don't think it was a foul either. Precedent - McGrady over Bradley, Vince Carter over Weis.
