ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Hornets 10/9/2007 (PRESEASON)

I can't believe anyone would be upset over this loss, or even care about it, clearly in the 2nd half the Rockets went with a ton of different combinations to see who plays well with each other.

i thought rafer makes the clutch freethrow's? that cost us....but it's still good to see the new offense, especially early in the game

The Rockets starters killed their starters. Hornets kept their starters in to please their peeps with a win.

 

Preseason is preseason, but I was worried about ONE thing when it comes to T-Mac, and it's his shot. I didn't get to see the game and what shots he took, but 1-5 FG and 2-5 FT is not that good. Hopefully that improves.

That 1st quarter was golden. 30-9

Number 1 thing I take from this game is that Scola is going to be a difference maker in many games with the "heady" things he does and his hustle. He and Battier next to Yao are going to be special to watch.

 

I have been saying this for the longest time, some of you will be screaming for MJ's head a couple months into the season. The man is a black hole. That's why you can't dismiss Skip yet.

 

again, he's rusty but the elevation looks good. the way he ran looks beautiful. he took it to the rim straight up one time from the backcourt running pretty gracefully. his shot is still off but it's the first game. all i care is a slimmer tmac and he slimmed down.

yao shot 4-11 so it's the first game.

I used it tonight for the first time myself. I signed up on the site, d/l the client, unzipped and installed it, clicked the Channels tab, selected 6001, right-clicked and selected Play. Worked like a champ.
