And yet, you can't even make it there.

Since we are on nevers, the Texans have never had a player die from a drug overdose or are severing time for selling weed out of the back of their van. BTW that is not my crack pipe! But selling your dignity to win I guess is the Dallas way. Just ask the Rangers and how many of their players have been caught up in the steriods scandal.

it's a nice cliched response to the very fresh, "you've never been to the playoffs" card. that's never been brought up before...never.

i just got HD, so they'll look even better after a loss.

Oh the glory of losing in the first round every year. Man how I envy that!

We're an up and coming team with a bright future. You're one loss from having your ball-dropping drama queen pop 42 more pills.

all your points are lame. The Texans have a better record their first five years of existence? So I guess they are going to break off 20 consecutive winning seasons like the Cowboys did?

probably not going to have trouble finding money to finish the stadium.

    Wow. Jealous much?

Out of curiosity, do you know how many pro sports teams actually play in the city they represent? Heck, the Giants and Jets don't even play in the same STATE.

And ok, if you want to try to continue to sustain yourself on a lone victory over a team coached by Dave Campo and quarterbacked by Quincy Carter, then please do. Hey, if that excites you so much, I hear that Monopoly is back at McDonalds - maybe you can win a free mini-ice-cream-cone and brag about THAT for the next six years.

And while you may have felt like you wrote some sort of masterpiece in another thread, the fact is, once you've read one sophomoric rant by a person whose brain has been eaten away by the acidic and vile poisons of envy and jealousy, you've read them all. There's just no need. It's spam. Do you try to find meaning in the little foam packing peanuts when you open a package? Do you bother reading the plastic bag your suit is wrapped in when you get it back from the cleaners? Do you really think you can find anything worthwhile by perusing the hot sauce packets at Taco Bell? Pshaw. It's chaff. Fluff. Detritus. Or, to use smaller words for you: not of value.

Strangely, and I realize, utterly alien to the haters, I root for the Texans too, as well as my Cowboys. I don't hold any animosity or hate towards the Texans, nor toward Houston. Didn't for the Oilers either. I actually want to see the Texans do well. Frankly, an All-Texas Super Bowl would be just sublimely sweet. If we Cowboys fans hate anyone at all, it's outfits like the Eagles, Skins and Niners.

If fan support was like cash, then we would be spending some of it on the Texans too.. kind of like when rich people donate to charities.. ;)

I admit, it's easy to be magnanimous when you have a legacy like the Cowboys have. And yes, we are well aware that it's been too many years since we enjoyed great success. But things are definitely pointed in the right direction now, much like with the Texans, who, after the dreadful mistake of the 'Triple-C Years' (casserly, capers, and carr), now seem to be finally building something solid.

Personally, I loved seeing the shocked, heartbroken faces on all those Bills fans last night. I know it was small comfort for the devastation they pinned on us in the 90's with that horrific Oilers playoff game, but still, I think it was even sweeter to let them think they had won a big game for all of about 59 minutes and 58 seconds. And then to see it yanked away like that, ooh, even now, goose bumps. :)

Anyway, why all the hate? I have much love for all my Houston teams, but I was born and raised a Cowboys fan by my late father. I just don't understand the hatred against people who don't hate you. I suppose my father just never got around to teaching me to hate like that. Oh well..

If we played in the NFC, we'd probably have won a playoff game by now.

I think it's funny that you wrote that whole thing, but I'm putting my fingers in my ears and yelling "nah, nah, nah, nah, I can't hear you!!!".

frankly, i don't care for the Cowboys. i want them to lose only b/c they represent Dallas. i don't need a history or rivalry to feel that way.

That's like saying how awesome the Rockets are because they won 2 championships 10 years ago. No one gives a **** anymore.

I guess that means no one has ever given a *** about teams that haven't made ANY noise in post season.
