I am just wondering what kind of impact they have made on you. They have made an impact on me in a couple of ways. I used to get real invested in the Astros, Oilers, and Rockets, and after they lost in the playoffs I'd be heartbroken. I was devastated. However, now, it's like "hey, At least I've still got those two rocket titles that will be with me forever." I still get nervous watching games, and my pulse quickens at every critical moment, but I've noticed that I'm much healthier after the Houston teams have been eliminated. I don't feel the sadness. I don't feel the frustration. Only a mild dissapointment settles in, but it goes quickly. It seems like all the pressure has been lifted off me since the Rockets won the titles. As a person, I don't know if I'm better or not, but I will tell you this, whenever I'm down I just pop in the double clutch video and I feel a whole lot better. Maybe that's sad, but it's true. I know a lot of you don't like the Titans, but that's what brought this up. I just didn't feel any pressure watching them. Thankyou ROCKETS!
That, and the fact that when you go to other states you can walk with your head held high. ------------------ I have a dream.........his name's Hakeem.
I feel the Rockets were the uncrowned champs in 97 when they were robbed vs. the Jazz so It feels great knowing the Rockets were the best team for 3 years, I really dont put much merit in a title unless it's earned so thats why the Rockets 3 years of being the best were great because they earned every last bit of them, Unlike that team from Chicago who were carried by the NBA, NBC and biased refs.
