It's been a while since my last mix, which was released just before the start of the playoffs, so I figured it was about time to produce another one. It's got a different feel than your average mix, but hopefully it's well received. Great mix. I guess you wanted to focus on the new additions since there was no Yao or Battier in there... but Bonzi could have fit in there, couldn't he? God... just thinking about all these names... we're so freakin stacked.
My intention was to keep the video down to new additions that have a good shot at making a contribution. I don't think Landry will get much time at all this year, and I don't consider Bonzi a new addition. Bonzi can be in a video when he's proven that he's committed to winning...not just to losing weight and to raising his free agent value.
Well if Bonzi just wanted to lose weight and raise his value, he would have done this one season earlier... because he could have left us this summer if he had played well enough to get any kind of payoff. I think he found new motivation to raise his game when he saw what the Rockets did with this team over the off-season... I think he wants to be a part of what could be the most successful team he's ever been on. We'll see soon enough, though.

Seriously man, if you're not in the production industry, you should be. That video was legit. As well thought out as it was, the execution was amazing. The playoff video last year was good, but I always thought you would have done a much better job. I absolutely can't wait for your championship tribute video. Hopefully sometime in late June 2008!
One of the BEST mixes I've ever seen, period. Great f'n job. Hopefully, once he's proven himself, you can go back and add a couple Bonzi clips.
