It just dawned on me why I am so optimistic this year.

Bobby Sura. Want me to say that again? Bobby Sura. Bobby Sura was initially questioned as he was more of a 2 than a 1. But he fit our team like a glove.

Why? Rebounding, Grit, Toughness, Heart. Because he was a nasty little powerforward in a shooting guard's body.

Enter Yao. A skilled player in a huge body. Not a prototypical center, but gives you many guard skills like passing and shooting. Solid not great at rebounding and blocking shots.

Enter Scola. Pretty gritty and tough-minded, still similar to Yao in his combination of skills. Multifaceted player. Not going to block or rebound everything in sight, but looks to execute screens, movement, and shooting and passing to a science.

Enter Sura part II, Francis/Bonzi. Both Rebound. Francis has the heart and grit. Bonzi is that nasty little powerforward in a sg body. Lacking in passing, shooting. Francis still great at driving and handling. Bonzi still solid at steals and mid-range.

    Tmac - all around

Shane - can finally be the glue guy and not the third scorer.

MJames/Aaron - Our answer to the little quick point guards of the league. Offensive Spark.

Sure, we aren't using a prototypical PG, SG, PF, or C, but the pieces never seemed to fit so well in these square pegged holes.

You do know Bobby is hurt and isn't going to see the court ever again right?

He's just using him as an archetype for the team we have now (did I use that word correctly?)

Yeah I'm a little lost about the Bob Sura part. Is there something that I missed? I thought Bob is done.
