WHo can bring more to the game ? What team has more variety of players who can fill it up ? We're number 1#.
And when's the last time someone drove the lane against the Rockets, looked up and saw 34, and suddenly acted like a spastic frog ? I saw that at least 3 times tonight. How sweet it is !

I don't know if the Rocks have the #1 bench, but they are very good. The Kings probably get my vote for having the #1 "Bench Mob."

Most people would take Portland's bench over ours... but what do they know. I'm just sayin'...

Portland still with the best bench after losing Walt, Rogers and Cato????

    I don't think so.

Rockets bench is excellent. We continuously win the 2nd q and have a lead at the beginning of the 4th. But I'm biased.

Indiana is my pick with Harrington, Bender and Croshere providing youthful exuberance and Best, McKey, Perkins giving them veterans. That is pretty good; you must admit. On a quick look at espn, they appear to be averaging 34 ppg.

Heypartner, I see your point. Of course, the crazy thing is, right now, the "bench" fo rthe ROckets includes Hakeem and Thomas, and I don't know if that's an accurate picture of the near fututre. Then again, this is a great problem for Rudy. One thing about these rocks, they are definately thinking team first. Yo gotta love that ! Any coincidence that the team has sky rocketed since "two sandwiches" got shipped out ?

I said better than our bench, not necessarily the best in the league. Rogers hardly contributed anything to the Blazers last year. And yes, I think a bench of Greg Anthony, Brian Grant (when healthy), Bonzi Wells, etc. is every bit as good as ours. Hell, I'd trade all our bench players with the exception of Mobley and Cato both for a healthy Brian Grant. Portland's team is about 10 deep *maybe* 11 if you count O'Neal/Augmon.

Youthful exuberance... blah... Jonathan Bender's been doin' nada this year; he hasn't even played a full game's worth of minutes yet. Outside of that, I agree. Indiana's got quality depth as well.

    DoD...did you just say

    Trade them all

Couldn't resist! Wish we could chat tomorrow night...but I got tickets.

I want to see Wally try to guard Cat or Anderson. I also think it would be excellent fun to see Minn. put Garnett on Stevie...you know Garnett has manned against guards before...as I recall he guarded Iverson once.

    bender has played...rarely.

McKey is out. But they are still scoring 33ppg from Best, Harrington, Croshere and Perkins. Notice how those 4 are a player for each position pretty much.
