I need quick advice regarding something. Do ya'll know of any places that sell lights that do not require an outlet and can be put into the ground easily? Im trying to spell something out with lights on someones lawn thats why. The only thing I can think of right now are christmas lights..... Im going to the dollar store and wal-mart to see what they got.

Why bother? Gasoline and a match work much better.

If you go to Home Depot and go to the lighting section, you'll see plenty of Malibu and other brand names of lights like the ones you like.

The neighbor and I put up our lights at about relatively the same time, and theirs are much dimmer than mine because they are of the "do not require an outlet and can be put into the ground easily" type. Mine are bright, are connected to the outlet on the outside of the house, and give a good ambient light to the flower bed.

When my neighbor saw mine for a while, she told me "I wished I would have waited to see your lights, 'cuz mine suck." She still has the solar-powered ones. Too bad that they are brightest only after a sunny day that they've received power to light up.

Don't forget, if you buy the ones you have to plug in, to buy yourself an outdoor timer. You'll need it.

    Good luck.

    Fatty... you're funny, man... :)

I only need it for like 5-30 minutes. Most likely 5. How much are each of these light sticks and how big?

Don't know exactly but they're cheap, 4 or 5 inches or so long and can usually find them in blue, pink, orange, green, yellow, purple.

If you need white, I think they have little leds at Target for around $5 each. You'd prob need a lot of them though; they're bright but small.

I would go to Home Depot or Lowe's. I think they have some Xmas stuff out already.

You can get packs of the glow sticks and glow necklaces at most dollar stores (Dollar Tree or $99 store)
