Hey guys. Needed some help! Im in Australia and ive got Pay TV but it only shows 2 or 3 NBA games a week. I would love to get NBA TV so i can see more Rockets games. I stream atm but here in Australia we have a limit before our speed gets capped.

So anyway, are there any ways to get NBA TV or the Local Houston Channels with Bill Worrel and Clyde.

Any help would be appreciated ;)

Basically the short answer, unless you watch it over the net you can't.

The best option I have found for us living in Aus is the NBA League Pass which is available for purchase for all international customers in which you can watch the games live (If they aren't Nationally televised games) and they stay on the site for 48 hours after the completion so you can watch it once you get home from work.

The other option is to download the games which R2K normally posts the day after. You said your download limit is capped so really your options may be minimal.

It's hard living in Australia supporting the Rockets :(

I was thinking of League Pass. Do you have it? The only problem is i think it chews up on the Download limit. Does it?

I did end up with the league pass last year and I will be getting it again this year. Streaming from sites like streamtv is great but when you can't watch it live due to work league pass is the best option. I can't remember off the top of my head exactly how much bandwith it used but I didn't think it was that bad. You can always sign up for a day pass and test just how much it does use before purchasing the whole season.

I would get thee day pass which is about $7 or so depending on what the US dollar is at the moment just to test it out. I think for the whole season it was $150

one more thing, i know dockerland was unsure of this but i was wondering if anyone else knew how much bandwidth NBA League Pass takes up.

    Anyone have any idea?

Hard question for us to answer as everything over here is basically a flat fee for unlimited bandwidth...but a limited size of pipe.

    IE 4 mb down
    and 512kb up

    Hmm..

I dont know to much about computers.

I have a 10GB download limit and once i exceed that limit the speed of my connection slows dramatically. Do you think the games will use up my limit quickly??

    Thanks in advance.

    IM desperate!!

I have no idea how much straming a game would use up in bandwidth.....but I would look to switch plans to an unlimited set rate one if you can.

I wish! But in Australia thats not an option. Im not sure why

Im on an unlimited plan which means i i can download as much as i want however after 10GB the speed slows down so much that im unable to stream games.

    HMMMMM...

Wish we had a flat rate like you Yanks :(
