Sorry for the late thread... where I usually go for wireless was down, so took me a while to find a place. When we went in today we were instructed to keep our voices down because Adelman was still going through and explaining plays to the guys. While I was there, Daryl Morey approached me to say hey... he had heard about the BBS crash and was wondering how I was holding up. He said the guys are really looking good and working hard in these practices. Said they have a lot of good players. I said definitely, but are there too many? He smiled and said he thought it was a good problem to have. Can't really argue with that. Players thin out quicker after practice by the third, fourth days... harder to catch players for questions because while you're talking to one, 2-3 are already gone. I got T-Mac, Rafer, Mike James and Adelman today. I wanted to catch Hayes and Battier. Battier at the end got pulled to take a picture with the UT girls team (I think it's the UT girls basketball team). Carl Landry had a nice reverse slam in scrimmage. I still think Mike Harris looks good. I'll post audio soon .... photos will likely be late or not until tomorrow because I don't have compact flash reader with me at the moment.
We can't ask his user name, but can you (admins) provide his post count (roughly)? Then at least we get an indication of how often he visits.
Going through the audio now ... some of my questions were about Bonzi (I asked T-Mac and Rafer). T-Mac did say Bonzi "lost 30 pounds".
My thoughts exactly. We should keep this in mind when we have concerns about the organization. More about marketing and whatnot, as I doubt we would have any influence in personel decisions.
Come on guys, I can just envision Morey on the BBS... Looking at the photoshop threads and seeing himself with a wizard cap on haha. Morey, you need to put a real wizard hat on, take a photo and post it here for us all. Now that would be entertaining.
Clutch, Thank you for all of the hard work you have given us over the last decade. This website has come so far, and I am so proud to be apart of the best fan website in the country. Having our GM talk to you about the problems with the website just shows how far you have come. Congrats!!!! Don't know what I would do w/ out clutchcity.net. As soon as I graduate from Texas Tech, I will be donating alot of money to this website. Thanks again!!! Your the best!
Maybe...the guy that posted that picture was actually him? He just needed to take a picture and didn't even have to photoshop.
All the audio from today is up. http://www.clutchfans.net/ No, I think he gets in to Austin later today ... he will be in practice tomorrow. I think the Chronicle guys were working with the Rockets to get a conference call with Yao, so they will likely have Yao quotes for tomorrow's edition. Tomorrow the Rockets have two 2-hour practices (as opposed to the one 3.5 hour session they have been doing the past 3 days). I'm going to tomorrow's morning session, will likely stop somewhere to post the audio and then I'm heading home to Houston.
