So uhh, the Dynamo are playing. The Dynamo are pretty good. as I am typing this up, looks like a brawl is fixing to happen. Dynamo are up 3-0 which is always good when we play anyone from Dallas.
Pretty unnecessary kick from Clark at the end there, but anytime Houston beats Dallas, it's a good thing.
Clark looked like he hurt his back on that fall. Boy, was he pissed. Every team needs a hothead, I guess! I can't say I didn't want to kick Mr. Rockstar in the face a couple times, myself. Astros win 3-0, Dynamo win 3-0! Anytime you can embarass a Dallas team in their own house it's a good day.
I agree that Clark shouldn't have kicked him(especially being up 3 w/ less than 5 minutes to go) but he kicked that guy in the back of the shoulder. Why did that Dallas ?u$$y cover his face and pretend he had been kicked in the head? I can't stand basketball players that fake injuries to get fouls, soccer players are 10 times worse. I'm actually starting to watch the Dynamo and trying to learn more about this sport but when I see that kind of bs it makes it really hard to repect. Does Clark deserve a red card? Yes. Does that Dallas player deserve to be beat down for pretending he was kicked in the head when he wasn't? Hell yes! The NBA and Soccer/futbol both need to start penalizing players for faking. Police will charge you up for false claims in the real world. I really feel acting disrespects the great game of basketball and soccer fans should feel the same way with their sport.
Clark was fined $10 Grand and suspended 9 games for that kick. I can see a fine and suspension but 9 games shuts him down for the rest of this season and the start of next, in essence 8+ months. Ruiz is a punk and he flops all the time whether in Dallas or playing for his Nation side in Guatemala. Just great! http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/5189464.html
Clark didn't hurt his back in the fall, he hurt his back when Ruiz ran behind him and kneed him. What's odd is that Clark is probably the calmest quietest guy on the team, Ruiz was pushing his buttons all game and he snapped at the end. He screwed up and is paying for it now.
Yeah, after watching a few replays I still couldn't see what Ruiz did to Clark, but whatever it was, Clark snapped. It's a freaking shame that Clark will now miss his second consecutive MLS Cup game!
Ruiz has become my most hated player. I can't stand watching or playing against guys like him. I didn't see what happened, but when I learned it involved Ruiz, I stopped just short of applauding Clark. I think Clark should be suspended, but Don Garber should know who was involved and take that into account. Ruiz is nothing but a punk.

Clark is a noob for not waiting until he was away from the ball or cameras to do something back to El Pescadito. I won't defend Ruiz, but Clark should have known better than to do that when everyone was watching. The dude on this video here says he should get suspended a whole year. I agree. Veteran leadership would have told Clark to wait until the right time. Ruiz's strategy worked... <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Y-TkkNqWICY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Y-TkkNqWICY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
After watching the vid...Clark definitely deserved a suspension. You just can't do that. There were better ways of getting back at Ruiz. That said, my opinion of Ruiz is now worse. What a d***head. Clark's boot came no where near his head. I want to rip that stripe right off his head.
