Way too much to post here. If you have a specific team you want to see I can post it in the "rest of the NBA"
Hey, Hayesfan, could you post the article for the Lakers? I'm curious as to what Hollinger thinks of them. Thanks!
Very good to hear. I find Hollinger to be one of the best analysts on ESPN but record and positional predictions rarely turn out right. That said, we definitely have the players to get a 61-21 record. As for bad starts, I definitely don't expect us to come out of the gate winning 10 in a row, but a 5-5 record through the first 10 games doesn't mean our whole season will be screwed. Dallas did start out last year 0-4 and still ended up losing only 11 the rest of the way.
I read where Ryan Bowen recently signed with New Orleans. Maybe we could trade Rafer for Bowen + 2nd round pick or cash. ... the guy couldn't score at all, but he was a very tenacious defender. Besides, that would clear another roster space for another player who would otherwise not make the 15-man cut. What do you guys think?
Holinger is almost ded on. My prediction: 62- 20 Finals: H- town ova boston in 5 Wcf: Sweep tha spurms Semis: Sweep tha fenix sux 1st round: Sweep tha moron mormons (paybak is a bich) Tha mcming dynasty begins now!! Nba champs 2008- 2015 Clutch city 3, tha resurection, beoch. Book it, biches. Also posted it on tha espn boards: http://boards.espn.go.com/boards/mb/mb?sport=nba&id=hou&tid=1554892&lid=19
I'm mostly curious to know what Hollinger thought of the other top four teams in the league, which are the Dallas Mavericks, the Phoenix Suns, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Utah Jazz now that I know what he thought of the Rockets.
1st in the Midwest, 4th in the West (5th by record, but division winner gets top 4 seed) and (I believe) 53 wins.
I'm very excited about this upcoming season, but I could care less of what we do in the season. (Although I would be disappointed if the Rockets fell in the 5,6,7 or 8 seed in the West) The most important thing is our success in the playoffs. Can't fall out in the first round again. Hopefuly we do look as good on the court than on paper. I'm just curious about how adelman will split up minutes between ALL of OUR GUARDS. Though I do like Mutumbo, I think we should go for another back up center. Trade some of our guards to get a younger more active atheletic center. Because if Yao goes out, we cannot depend on Mutumbo to do what he did last season this season, especially since he is a year older and playing in a more umtempo offense.
I know we're all excited but I have a bad feeling. Very bad,and I don't like it It seems like every year we have some potential to make something and we blow it away Hope thats not the case this year, especially in playoffs
