Nah....he'd punk out like he did before when he only got about a quarter of an inch trimmed off. He claimed his wife likes his long hair.

So if I understand this thread, the Texans just lost a winnable game and looked terrible doing so but somehow that's not so bad because David Carr the Texans' ex-QB also had a bad game for his new team? And this makes you guys feel better?

Leave David Carr alone already... Sheesh... It's his fault that he isn't a good player, but it's not his fault that the Texans kept him around for so long.

Since we lost, we can't make fun of that excuse for a QB? Thank you thought police, we appreciate you steering us in the right direction.

And I'd expect most teams would look pretty damn terrible if three of their four main scoring weapons were not in the lineup. Just me, though.

I think Carr just needs another couple of years.

Shrugs... I don't think that game was all that winnable. I never saw the one sided advantage that most fans thought there was. I thought it was going to be a tough game. Then again... I'm not bashing Carr either. shrugs.

It's the O-line. He doesn't get enough protection. If he could get 8-10 seconds he would dominate.

Who is saying it's not so bad?? Why do you always read in something that isn't there? It's an entirely separate issue.

If anything it rekindles bad feelings for me regarding the '06 offseason.

    "sura fall in faint"

It was hilarious. I don't even know where to start looking for it.

Somebody posted some jokes, translated from Chinese, and they just didn't translate well. Several of them ended with, "sura fall in faint." I do believe one "sura fall in faint" reference came just after Sura caught a glimpse of Yao's package in the shower.

    That was one hilarious thread.

This thread was not created to make us feel better about the Falcon loss. Instead this thread was created for a strong topic of conversation about one of the most overrated QB's ever! Of course all of us here in Houston knew David Carr was really a flake who could not make pre snap reads or pre snap adjustments. But for some strange reason the rest of the world watched the Texan’s games and had a completely different view about Carr, and the average NFL fan (that was not in the Houston area) believed that Carr was a pretty good QB and blamed it on the Texans O Line! IMHO I do believe that Texans O Line was one of the leagues worse during the Carr era, however I also blame half of the sacks Carr took on David Carr. There were MANY occasions for him to get the ball out of his hand but he decided to scramble 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage at least 2-3 times a game. A few more games played like this from Carr may write the final chapter on Carr's career as a NFL player.
