"I'll have a colon contest with you any day of the week..." did anyone notice richard and larry both on the verge of cracking up? hilarious... also seeing larry's face turn beet red while yelling about his bowel movements and urination frequency... priceless...also the first staredown of the season
agreed. so many great scenes. the dynamic between larry and the blacks is hilarious. i thought that the whole tragically unhip white person being schooled in the ways of black culture had long, long ago been completely played out and cliched in tv and movies, but Curb is really taking that to a new level.

Same here. I actually got the first season dvds like 3 years ago, but I never found the show funny. I watched two episodes or so of the first season and stopped. For some reason, I decided to start watching it again this season from the beginning and it is brilliant! I'm now catching up on the other seasons.
It's hard to get people to watch this show. I tell my co-workers and they all have seen previews and see Larry David and think how funny can that dude be. I love that show. I watch the re-runs almost every time they come on. Larry will argue with anyone anywhere over anything. This season has been great, so far. The Blacks selling Larry out when Cheryl found the toilet paper in the Black's bathroom. Hell, the looks on the Black's face when Larry came in to drop a deuce in the the bathroom of the bedroom they were all watching TV in was hilarious.
"What are you wearing Cha Cha?" Learning how to get into a skinheads a-hole. She already had 9 kids. So many great moments from the past episode.
i loved seeing johnny mac throwing f-bombs around... and the scene in the limo with larry (as charlie the driver) asking the most random questions to JMac.. it was like he was able to get into the head of someone like him...completely neurotic and argumentative
Another decent episode tonight. In general I don't think the current episodes are as good as the first couple seasons (the converging storylines in particular aren't as smoothly done), but the show is still good for a couple big laughs per ep. The sequence where Larry and Leon's cell phones get switched up was absolutely hilarious. Leon has been a very good addition to the season.
Last night was better than the limo driver episode. McEnroe throwing f bombs is par for the course. Mumbling Leon is great and Larry's Dad thinking the rub and tug lady was in love with him was hilarious.
Awesome episode tonight. IMO the show is on a resurgence after a couple years of "okay" seasons. There was so much good stuff packed in this ep; Long Balls, no fly zone, everyone picking cheryl etc. Larry trying to get Cheryl to back up his story with the hostess lady had me rolling. Also there's an extra dimension here since Larry David's real-life wife, Laurie David has left him too. So it'll be fascinating to see where Larry goes with this storyline. Good stuff.
I thought it was a little whorish of Cheryl to hook up with the guy on the plane because they bonded over some turbulance. You knew the Blacks were going to side with their meal ticket.
I thought that was interesting too. I also liked how Marty Funkhouser said at dinner how they should stick with Larry and everyone at dinner agreed, but then no one did. Also, how Jeff said that Cheryl used to have an amazing body and Marty smiled and agreed. Lucy Lawless was really hot too, where has she been? Leon is becoming one of my favorite characters. He is great in every scene.
Well ... I used to enjoy CYE, until Comcast decided to start charging me $20 for HBO. Larry David ain't worth that much.
