Brett Favre just broke Dan Marino's touchdown record and he did it at the Metrodome. Taking a page from Hank Aaron they just played a pre-recorded congratulations for Favre from Marino on the jumbotron.
Just to add the Vikings / Packers rivalry is huge here in the upper Midwest and I was expecting to hear some boos when Favre broke the record. Also the Metrodome hasn't been that good of a place for Favre who's had some of his worst games there.
what are you talking about? No INT's today. It was pretty hilarious to see Marino talking "to Favre" on the big screen, and them showing Favre on the sidelines not even paying attention. Granted, he had better things to do...he was finding his wife and giving her a kiss and high-fiving his coaches and teammates and all that junk. Still a weird thing. I thought Favre has had some seriously good games at Minny? I mean, just look at the last 4 years before this year to start with..
Brett Favre has tied George Blanda's career interception record with his desperation heave into the endzone at the end of tonight's game. It looks like Brett will take over that record too.
