Bonds tainted the game itself, and anyone at this point who thinks Bonds may not have done steroids is a moron.

I think the asterisk is fair. The ball will still end up in the HOF, but people will never forget the controversy surrounding it. That controversy -- as well as the homerun -- is now a part of Bonds's legacy, whether he likes it or not.

I think Arenas is forgetting the fact that it was the public that VOTED on putting the asterisk there.

im sure if the public put a vote one of McGuire's balls that already in the hall of fame there won't be an asterisk on it and we all know why.

The significance of McGuire's ball pales in comparison to Bond's. That's number 1. Plus, his ball is already in the HOF, and you don't want to set a precedent of removing/modifying objects that are already there due to the steroid scandal.

That said, if there was such a vote I think there would be an asterisk written on his ball. He isn't very popular anymore.

Im sure Bagwell, Gonzalez, Finley, Caminiti and Biggio aren't clean either. Those guys got veins poping out of their necks and faces only a mother can love.

By the way I still love the Stros. I respect the fact that our star players took roids to make more $$$ for their families and better our team. :D

Because biggio isn't a pretty-boy like a-rod he's on the juice? Those power numbers from bidge sure prove your point. Quit posting.

Actually I do have a source who said Biggio, Bagwell, Caminiti, and Gonzo did the roid. Yes, Biggio did them too. Don't know where the power was, but take it for what it's worth.

I love Gilbert Arenas. I wish all pro athletes had his personality. He's a guy that is exciting and is a refreshing change of pace from more typical pro athletes.

Gilbert, In baseball, stealing signals is considered part of the game. It's not against the rules.
