is a rip off. Man I ordered game 3 of the Lakers series last year and the damn box wouldn't work. Then TCI said they wouldn't bill me but of course on the payment it said 20.00 for a Rockets pay-per-view. Then they forgot mysteriously what they had told and told me that I still owed them 20.00 dollars. I was pissed and knew I wouldn't get the money back because taking them to small claims would "drain 8 hours out of my life" as Jim Carrey put in Liar,Liar. Anyway, my question is does anybody know if Les is going to force us to order home playoff games on Pay-per-view again this year if they make the playoffs. Les is wrong for this, every other team in the NBA except for one, which I can't remember right now, has their games on free during the playoffs.

Its my understanding talking with Portland fans is that they have to pay for their regular games along with the playoffs..I think it is like a season long charge for the regular season ( like a premium cable channel) then per game in the playoffs

We got rocketsvision once and had problems with it. Since then I decided to get a dish and order the league pass. I get to watch any game I want to. Since I don't live in Houston anymore that is the only way I can keep up with the rockets. I think it's worth the cost.

I understand your point. The Astros put their playoff games on broadcast television (ESPN coverage on Ch. 51). The Rockets may not want to do something that, but here's my suggestion.

Put all home playoff games on Fox SW. What's so hard with that? Or the Rockets should not blackout Turner Sports coverage of the NBA Playoffs.

As a fan, it hurts and angers me that Les blacks out all of the playoff games.

He wants public $$$ to help finance his arena and then he won't let the Houston fans even watch for free. Ridiculous.

When I visited Phoenix, Arizona a few years ago I remember my uncle telling me most of their games were on PPV.

I live in Chicago and never get to see the Rockets play. How much $$$ is this NBA package? Do any of you have an internet link to this kinda info? (actually, i just want to watch the Rockets, but i doubt there is a TV service in which you just get Rockets games [IMG])

Hey, I just became a "member"!!! Cool.

    plato,

go to a local dealer of satellite dishes to egt nba pass. i don't use it, but a friend does, and he loves to see any game, any time. some local cable companies also have digital tv, and offer nba pass. i'm sure you can look on www.nba.com to find some info. if i find anything else, i will let you know in this thread. later...
