He is a seven time Cy Young winner that played for the top two franchises in America and the top franchise in Canada. He has also pitched in World Series for teams on both sides of the Mississippi.
Same thing Jordan and Magic and Bird and all the other greats accomplishments had to do with people liking them. People tend to like great players. People nationwide tend to like great players on the most popular teams. Kobe is not exactly the most likable person, but he is one of the most popular players. He is very skilled and played for the Lakers. In baseball, look at the popularity of Jeter. Jeter plays for the Yankees, so he is nationally popular. Biggio is a great second baseman, but he played for the Astros and has never won a ring. Biggio is locally popular, but nationally can't touch many other players. That is what it has to do with people liking him, people like great players on popular teams.
I think more people are tired of hearing about roger and his comebacks. people in houston and new york like clemens.
I spoke to a Clutch Crew member and he dun' gave me this here permission slip and so then I fixed yer post.
Yeah, Jordan's popularity really went down the tube with his multiple retirements and comebacks. People nationwide like Clemens and respect him as the best pitcher of his generation. People in Houston are bitter that he and Pettite went back to New York, leaving the LAstros to flounder around in the cellar of the NL Central.
She's kind of hot for an older lady...I'd hit it...Well, there isn't much I wouldn't hit, for the record...
