Yao Ming Ranked 89th Most Powerful Person In Sports

Tiger Woods could just have any of his rivals killed.

 

He's 8 feet tall.. He must be powerful.

 

I thought Yao would have been in the top 10 at least.


EDIT: After looking at the list, I say he should have made it in the top 25, seeing the top 10 are mostly league officials.

Players who never seem to fail? Alex Rodriguez, Kobe, Barry Bonds, all above Yao?

I can maybe understand Bonds, every single move he's done that past 5 years gets covered more than any other athlete. But I don't see how Alex Rodriguez, Kobe, or any of the Nascar guys could be considered more powerful than Yao. He IS the link between China and U.S. sports.

that list doesn't make sense to me. it seems almost random how they ranked 75% of that list.

 

Not just that, but most of those guys are businessman, making it an even worst list. You can't compare Chuck Norris and Superman...doesn't make any sense to me.

 

I'm assuming Chuck Norris was omitted, otherwise him and all his bearded sperm would have been in the top 100.
