i would still say McGrady. I'm just saying Alston has potential to be better.

why are you backtracking? you made two threads saying that Rafer is an awesome playmaker. You even said he might be better than McGrady

i'll vote for Rafer cuz tracyyao convinced me that Rafer is better

How the hell do you figure that?

Ok, I'll give you that Rafer is a better dribbler.

On the other hand, Tracy is taller, much better at going to the rim, better at shooting from the outside (his % would be much better if he had the wide ass open looks rafer gets) and mid-range, has better court vision and is younger.

Where is the potential for the 31 year old Rafer to improve on all, if any of these playmaking categories (besides age/height), to the point that he could even sniff Tracy's jock?

Like Bill Worrell and Clyde said.
Alston is a late bloomer. You can still have a good season doesn't matter if your 30 or 40.

lol.....you lost all credibility when you said Bill Worrell and Clyde

    first of all, they're homers

second of all, clyde thinks rafer is an All Star (you prolly do too)

late bloomer? he still hasnt bloomed

who cares homers or not. Neither way i doubt they're saying that to entertain or be stupid.

Yeah clyde also thought t-mac was a point-forward. I still haven't forgave him.

late bloomer?? seriously??? you try to pick everyone else's points apart and this is the best response you can come up with?

again....how do you even begin to form the thought that rafer has the potential to be a better playmaker than tmac?

should kenny "the jet" smith be fired?

RAfer Alston was a great primary playmaker during the 05-06 season too. HE was great during the 04-05 season.

He should've remained but then again JVG doesn't know how to use anybody right.

Doing a poll on a player who is not even in the Rocket's plans?

I voted for Rafer, but still that doesn't change the fact that TMAC is a point forward! ;)

EDIT: Only 3 people voted for Rafer?! No fun at all.

mcgrady would be a better playmaker at 50 then rafer could even hope to be. and i'm not an anti-rafer guy.

I'm surprised there are actually 49 people who bothered to waste the energy to vote for T-Mac.

So did this thread basically start because a troll says that Rafer can be a better playmaker than T-Mac? Will I see another thread like this wondering who's the better low post player, Yao or Hayes?

    easy question.

    tmac.

i like rafer alot, but tmac is not just a great passer he's a scoring option too. that means he can literally make more plays.
