whoa...thats hot. I need to watch Women's Soccer often. Nothing hotter than hot sweaty girls, crying.

I agree the coach has made a terrible decision which might have costed the game. But you just don't belittle your teammate in public like that, Hope.
Wow, I guess you don't respect the game like I thought. Soccer doesn't use as much athleticism as basketball? I have to disagree with that. You are correct on the size part but athleticism I can't agree on that. Soccer is my favorite sport but I can't get into the Women's game either. I can watch it here and there but not follow it like the men's.
What I meant is that having technical skill is more important than having athleticism. Sure it's great to be able to outrun or outjump people, but playing smarter (knowing when to make a run, or where to pass the ball) is more important. What separates MLS from the top leagues of the world isn't athleticism but skill, it's very likely that American players are in general better athletes, but not better players. Because of that women that have skill and play smart can still be entertaining to watch.
The athletism involved in soccer is more to endurance and technique. You have to be able to run at almost full speed for two halves of continuous 45min with only 3 subs a game. Bonzi Wells of the world (or any fat atheletes) won't stand a chance in a pro soccer game.

The LA Galaxy signed the wrong player. They should have paid the hundreds of millions to sign Marta instead of David Beckham.
I respectfully disagree. The coach belittled Solo by taking her out for no good reason. Solo has every right to be furious and not hold back. Imagine if it was game 7 of the NBA Finals and Adelman said, "You know what: Yao, you're going to sit this one out. Deke, you're the center tonight." Don't you think Yao would be furious? Don't you think he would have a few things to say about it? Solo was right, and I doubt she cares much what her coach thinks right now. If I was her, I wouldn't want to take the field with Scurry or Ryan ever again.
The coach made a dumb roster change. Solo has every right to be upset and furious. But she does NOT has the right to belittle her teammate in the media. Can you see the difference there? And why do you hate on Scurry? What has she done wrong? You tell me.
I was about to post, how boring this clip was until I saw that last goal. That was amazing! She broke some ankles right there.
Marta has some crazy talent. And why was Solo benched exactly? Looking at the interview this is what I got out of it: Back in 2004 Solo must have had a bad game against Brazil, the coach remembers that so he thinks benching her would be good for the team. Or maybe the goalie that replaced her had a great game against Brazil. Am I close?
