That article WAS garbage. Gundy was speaking out of pure emotion, and should have chose his words in advance. The Oklahoman is a giant Sooner homer paper and rarely gives Okie State any press, let alone good press. So this kind of crap does not surprise me at all. Go Gundy. He was right, albeit not tactful
More major college athletic myopia. The coach has a point but he certainly mis-handled it. You can have somebody's back without handing over your own brain!!
I've also found that pretty funny. This writer basically calls Reid a p***y and a momma's boy. She was way out of line and should be disciplined.
Someone clarify the whole eating chicken thing? Whats wrong with that. Its not as bad as this. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/REo4WDmh8pw"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/REo4WDmh8pw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
I have a problem with the way she cited those sources. Or namely the complete lack of citation. Let's look at some of the phrases she used. So wtf did that article actually say. Absolutely nothing. It made maybe 4 points. 1) According to an unnamed uncited source (word is) Reid considered transferring, something Mike Gundy denied. 2) Apparently you could see him shrugging when he talked 3) He was laughing on the sidelines 4) His mom fed him chicken THAT is the basis of this story. And it's exactly what Gundy thought it is (to quote our good buddy Denny Green). It was garbage. She basically made Reid look like a p***y based on 3 crappy observations and some hearsay. Like I said, this is high school journalism. Just terrible.
Call me a pig but if she was hot I wouldn't have a problem with the article. We need more eye candy in sports. When Stacey Dales Schuman passes for hot we got problems.
Sorry bud, not hot. So no guilt here in criticizing her work. Link - http://www.zimbio.com/pilot?ID=&URL...ni+Carlson/trackers/3/News+from+Jenni+Carlson
Gundy's Coors Light commercial. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uyTQUWEKx0o"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uyTQUWEKx0o" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with what he said, i dont know y it is such a big deal. Im really suprised John Mclane was so offended by it. The guy spoke the truth, I applaud him
Exactly. It has nothing to do with on-field performance or with anything other than the fact that he likes chicken. For her to use this as part of her basis for the article is unprofessional.
