Who cares? I'm far more concerned whether or not Houston will win another championship.

Whats funny is that Dirk won the MVP last year, haha what a shame.

BTW I hope Mavs don't ever win a ship.. however I wont be as disappointed as I would be if they win the ship the year after Cuban sells the team.

According to this thread, most of the guys don't believe Drik is a real leader, despite of being MVP of the past season.

Yeah. Got rid of useless bums like Croshere and Pops and signed Bass, Fazekas, and Eddie Jones.

They're also still in the hunt for PJ Brown or Weber. It wasn't a special offseason, but overall it was a pretty weak market to begin with. ESPN still ranked them 11th in terms of offseason moves. And considering 29 teams had a hard time beating the Mavs last year, I'm not too worried.

Their single biggest problem is that they are a jumping-shooting team and it just so happens that their jump-shots disappear in the in playoffs...

The only person who occasionally hurts you on the low block is Stackhouse and Harris can do some damage with his penetration, but is too inconsistent from game to game.

Thats why I'm so glad we have Yao on our squad. Now if we can only get T-Mac to shoot better or penetrate a little more than we are great. Hopefully, now that T-Mac doesn't have to get tripled teamed and Yao doesn't get doubled teamed at the same time, we will be much better. Against the Jazz, it was just painful to watch as the whole Utah defense focused on our two stars and the team struggled to score!

When Douchitzki actually performs in the postseason, maybe he'll deserve some due. The Mavs were the laughingstock of the league after their first-round flame out, and can you blame people for laughing? All season I wanted to wipe the smug look off his b****ass face and ya know...when he was awarded the MVP, I felt something sweet and holy inside my soul. Nowitzshlt doesn't deserve to win a trophy, and neither does the rest of his flopping brigade. Ever. And IMO, they won't.

Kevin Garnett also won the MVP award. And by all accounts, his time in Minny was a failure. But at least he led his team out of the first round the year he won. *gigglegiggle*. Now the wolves shipped his ass of to Boston for 5 decent players that don't stand a chance of becoming a superstar. When it's (the Mavs' current hot spell) all said and done, will the same fate await for NoShowitzki? All of us (with the exception of redefined and a couple other hopeless folk) expect as much.

I agree with everything here except:
    1) Their centers are actually pretty solid defenders.
    2) They have a star in Dallas his name is Josh Howard, he doesn't get credit but he is only guy I truly worry about throughout game (and terry in clutch time).

Yea all else seems good. :).

First off, I want you to know I think you're pretty weird. gigglegigglegiggle
and there is nobody named "Douchitzki" in this league

Dirk has played a total of 82 playoff games. A whole season worth of games in the playoffs. Averaged 25 points a game on 45% shooting and 11 rebounds a game. OK? Just because the Rockets can't get past the first round, doesn't necessarily mean the playoffs are over gigglegigglegigle. He also manages to get his team out of the first round on a regular basis (5 out of the last 7 years is a pretty good track record). He also took his team to the Finals (yes, he was the won who won game 7). I want to remind you that in the past 9 years, only 3 teams in the West have made it to the Finals. That is definitely something to laugh about.

If you don't want to give Dirk his MVP dues then please tell me who you would have nominated instead.

Dirk belongs in that same category of NBA players as Karl Malone... Okay, maybe he's not particularly physical... or tough even... and he doesn't go out and kick people in the crotch, throw elbows, or bearhug people fighting over screens at critical moments of playoff games. He also hasn't ventured into the realm of professional wrestling... yet. He can be as solid as a rock during the regular season. He can even be a strong performer in the playoffs. But when it comes down to it, he just doesn't have what it takes to be a champion. He disappears when it really, really counts.

He does have a particularly annoying face... one worth b****-slapping when he pumps his fist or looks at small children... or at anyone for that matter. And he cries alot, blames his teammates, and kicks exercise equipment when he doesn't win. He also like to hum David Hasselhoff songs during his free throws. If these qualities don't merit the title of "Douchitzki", I'm not sure what to tell you, for they're the very hallmarks of douchebaggery.
