Oh great. Now it looks like Francis won't be playing. That's just (profanity-ing) great. Hundreds of dollars wasted to see the Rockest lose in a rout. I can't believe this!

Francis had X-rays in Portland on Wednesday, but no bone damage was found. He is considered questionable to play against the SuperSonics tonight.

If Francis plays, I expect it to be close, 91-90 Rockets.

If Francis sits it out, we lose 92-87.

I can't believe my bloody luck. I know that this means very little in the grand scheme of things, but dammit, it pisses me off! I hope that Rudy doesn't force him to sit like he usually does. Just his presence on the floor is enough to alter games. Be like Mobley, Steve!

If Walt Williams and Moochie Norris have a good game then we will crush the Sonics. We haven't lost a game this season when those two clicked. Rockets 94 Sonics 83.

Rockets will out power the Sonics in offense and will kill Payton and Co. by 20 something points. I think it's going to be blow out game.

That article also said that Mobley missed yesterday's practice with the flu. If we have to start Moochie and Oscar in the backcourt, then we will be hard-pressed to win this game.

With Francis out Rudy starts Cuttino at the point with Walt at the 2 to match up with Seattle's big backcourt= Breakout game...........

    Cuttino: 9 points, 26 assists, 14 boards(sooo close)

Rice: 28 points on 10-17 shooting and 8 boards

Kelvin: 9pts, 9boards, 7 blks,1 foul, 33 min. setting up monster trade immediately following the game

    Rockets 96
    Sonics 87

Rashard Lewis probably wants to have a monster game vs. Houston, which is why he won't do too well in the first half. He'll rush some shots and get a couple of early fouls. He'll have a big 2nd half though.

Payton will be eager to teach "the best back court in the NBA" some lessons, and talk about it all day. I bet Payton hopes Francis plays, because he doesn't want any excuses, or anyone saying Francis is a better PG than Payton. I look for Payton to have a HUGE game.

With or without Francis, this is gonna be a tough match-up. Should be a fun game to watch, too ... unless the Rockets forget how to shoot again.

I hope Steve and Cuttino play but serve as BIGTIME decoys. They should come into the game knowing they aren't in a position to do much and think almost completely of setting everyone else up for shots.

Francis (gimpy): 10 points, 14 assists, 4 rebounds
Mobley (gimpy): 11 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds
    Cato & Willis only: 20 points,20 rebounds,4 blocks

That's what we need to win.

Maybe this is where Griffin earns his minutes? Tonight, I think he's gonna get playing time with KT out(?)...

On NBA draft net, they show Rashard as a free agent with player option. It would be nice to get him back here and dump Rice and his big salary. With Lewis we wouldn't have to see the small lineup so much. I still don't know why we just didn't let Anderson walk and saved that cap space. The Way Rice is playing we could have stuck with walt and thenplayed Morris and Langhi more, then after the season go after lewis.
