And exactly how many thunderous dunks did you see this year by TMac?

NBA's Top 10's from last season includes a TMac play. Guess which one it is?

It's the one from the Jazz series & he fakes 2 guys for the . . . layup.

Not many. That is why I agrree he shouldn't have the same rating as VC, Kobe, and LeBron (All off them have 99), but he can still throw it down, when healthy. He hasn't had any "wow" dunks in a while and should have is dunk rating dropped, all I am saying is that he should at least be 91. He is no longer a 99, but at least give him a 91.

I'm in love with these NBA 2K games but, you know you are ready for the season to start when you read 5 pages of a thread that revolves around a video game. I don't know if ready is the word...more like desperate

C'mon, the list only has the Top 20 with the #20 having a 92 dunking rating. T-Mac is probably 90-91 or a little lower. That seems just about right. I'm more interested in his 3pt shooting because I like pulling up for the three just like Tracy.

I downloaded the 2k8 demo yesterday. Very good presentation and the game flowed well. There were some minor changes like the jumpball needing proper timing and an icon displaying the person you intend to pass it to highlited white under their body. The graphics have improved from last season, including the coaches. The demo didn't have commentary so I don't know how that'll turn out. It is rediculously realistic that I saw LeBron biting his nails as my man was shooting free-throws late in the quarter. I can't wait to buy this game next month!

And I agree. 3pt will be the most interesting thing but dunks are also important

They took out commentary to make the demo smaller.

Amare Stoudemire is as much a center as Bush is a good president. That is a joke, how could they rate him so highly, not only that, how could they even classify him as a center?!

Yes we're all mad but I think there are few reasons why Yao is rated lower than Amare...
1.Yao broke his leg and missed 34 games and in BIG way that reflected his rating
2.Yao's rating in speed or jump etc. are lower than Amare's rating in those areas so Amare in general has higher rating....
Normaly you can't give Yao speed or jump 80-90 but you can give Amare that altough I think Amare isn't a center...

Right. It isn't a big suprise that Amare is better in the game. He is very quick, so athletic, he can make jumpers and he's better rebounder than Yao.

They have a rating for how injury prone the player is, thats probablt a reason Yao is low. T-Mac had a really low rating in that category in 2K7, and his overall was only a 90, because of it. If Yao avoids injuries this year, his injury rating should improve next year, along with his overall
