Tank the season less that 153 games in for an inknown commodity? Not smart.

If the Astros sweep the Cards, they'll be 1 game behind them. The race for 3rd is on.

I live in St Louis (originally from H-Town) and am perhaps the lone Astros fan in the state. I have had tickets to Sunday's game since May and was hoping it would be a good game - ie actually have an impact. I am still going to go - if only to see Biggio play one last time.

I can do both - Baseball game is not until 7:05... However I might be too pumped (read: drunk) after the Texans beat the Colts and secure the top spot in the division... My wife is from Indy and a HUGE Colts fan - I predict I will be sleeping on the couch for awhile.

man your right, did not realize that. I would be there too no matter how bad my teams are I support but when I thought they were on around the same time you could see the logic.

    In my heart it goes:

    -Rockets
    -Texans
    -Astros

I have followed the Texans since their first season and they are seriously contending for the top spot. I think if they beat the Colts (again) they will have it locked up.

We need this series to continue closing ground on the Cards as we head into the final stretch before the Playoffs.

...Oh wait, its 2007, not 2006 (or 2005 or 2004)

LOL this isn't football or basketball. Odds of a top pick being the best player in the draft, just isn't good. As long as your in the top 15, the odds of that player turning out is about the same.

This is what it is. The Astros showcasing the youth both to the fans, coaches, and vice versa. I'm watching to see these young guys. If you don't like it, turn the channel.

yeah and i really hope Towles makes the club next year. split time with ausmus. that alone would make the offense alot better.

whats the deal with Burke? i thought Cooper was going to play him more.

How about some Josh Anderson love? I don't remember this kid being a very highly thought of prospect, but he sure as hell is producing!

Can't watch the game, but at least Anderson and Towles let me end the season on a good note.
