Seems like I can add Brian Grant to my injured list!!! The IR isnt worth much when you have 6 injured players! I dont see how I have more games played than anyone?With my injuries and twice having an Illegal roster the people with less games than me must not be setting thier rosters.
Click on "Statistics", look at your stats "Year-to-Date". The first column is "Games Played". Scroll all the way to the bottom to see your total games played by your team this season. This number is from you current and released players. That is precisely my point! How can you expect to win the league when you forget to set your rosters everyday? And how can you expect to win if you have injured players as reserves when they should be placed on the IR in order to pick up a healthy player in the meantime?
Surprise player would have to be Jamaal Tinsley. He's pretty good for a first year player. He seems to get a lot of assists and steals a game, and he keeps the turnovers low. My biggest disappointment thus far has been Jason Williams or Ron Mercer.
The illegal roster thing sucks. Last week I added Joe Smith, who was on waivers, to my roster. I was dropping a reserve player, but he came in as active, nullifying my score for that night. So, I should probably be anywhere from 2nd to 4th place, and now I can't make up any ground. If I don't in the next two weeks or so, I'm going to stop playing.
Could that Vince Carter for Rahim trade you made have anything to do with your demise? Seriously though, the exact same thing happened to Ren and he wanted me to manually go back and add his points to his total because no one knew that a waiver pickup is added to your roster as an "active" player. I told him the only way that I would add the points back to his totals is if everyone was in agreement that this should happen. We can still take a vote if you want to try to get your points back. It has only happened to RM95 and Ren. If this happens again though you would be stuck with your goose-egg because everyone knows now how the waiver situation works.
Well CBS certainly has alot of nice features but to tell the truth I think it sucks..The thing that yahoo has over it,is the ability to set your roster days even a week or more in advance.
Yea if you go on vacation, you have to have a friend set your lineup everyday for you. Yahoo allows you to preset your lineups days in advance. Also is CBS going to fix the current lineup displayed per day?
I'm trying to set my lineup for tomorrow-- The link for "set lineup" is gone. Is anyone else having this problem? Luckily my lineup for today is good for tomorrow so I won't miss any players. However, if this continues, .,.not good.
Sportsline does this every Monday for approximately 2-3 hours starting at 12pm EST. They use this time to make updates for the weekly leagues. The link should be back in a couple hours.
IS CBS going to display the game schedule for the current day that you are going to set your roster, or is CBS going to continue to display the next day's games while the current day roster is being set?
Lorenzen Wright with Back and neck spasms I currently have 8 players that are injured I think at this point it may be easier to try in get a perfect 15 man injured roster with 2 on the IR than to win this league
I don't see why the thing can't auto-pick your roster if you don't. If I only have 9 players playing on a given night, common sense tells you I want them all starting, rather than having off-day people starting. It shouldn't be hard to add an autopick to the active roster each day. The game is so close it could very well be decided by forgetting to change a roster one day, and that's just silly.
I have decided to give control of the "Canes" to fellow bbs member, dirt. From my understanding, I can't be deleted from the league, but dirt will be making all the decisions from now on with the Canes. I hate to bail, but with 3 sim leagues, the B Yahoo Fantasy Basketball league, and a local fantasy football league, I don't have the time to dedicate to this league. I would rather see someone who is more active join the league then for me to take up dead space. So, please welcome dirt to the league.
