There was a really cool alternative jersey deisign posted on this board a while back. It was the black jersey with red and gray trim. Anyone know which i'm talking about?
I can't see the picture either but im pretty sure I know what your talking about. Is it the TMAC one and on the right it has the saying "impossible is nothing; Houston Rockets." It's actually my wallpaper at the moment. If anyone can tell me how to ill gladly post it. I thought you just had to copy and paste it but it doesnt seem to work
yeah! I wanted to see the picture too, but I do know what it looks like in my head... I want to see the Green and Gold for a game (I have no idea if we've done it before, but I played that on nbalive a ton, I unfortunately don't have any other computer friendly options for sports, you console happy monkeys!)
I'm going to have to call you out on this one. Males are genetically predisposed when it comes to pink tutus. You can say whatever you want, but you would be lying if you had said that you would root for a group of tall guys in ballerina bottoms. There's no way way we can prove it. You're just going to have to trust me on this. Perhaps you could have said underwear. That might be acceptable.
C'mon Jeff - it's all about the $$$... if you've been around that long, you've got to know that. I mean what's cooler than a Minnesota Timberwolves or a Carolina Panthers alternate jersey??? Hell, even the Celtics, THE CELTICS have a black alternate jersey now. You know if the C's are doing it, the NBA has completely sold out to the almighty dollar. That's the one thing I have to credit the "classic" teams with - Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, Steelers, Browns, and I suppose to some extent even the Cowboys (that hurts to type) - they don't mess with success with a stupid uni or logo change. I wish we could say that...
Rockets getting new jerseys? Interesting... I guess the Rockets are going to get new uniforms after all. "A new look for a new arena". Personally, I like our current jerseys and think that they have the potential to be classic. I would just like them to add a black/red alternate and call it a day.
LOL, no! I was looking for a picture of the red/black fake uniforms (basic yahoo search) and came across the site. I saw all of the "It's Time" banners and thought that they were doing it again. Thanks for clearing that up.
someone made this for nba live. looks pretty slick and finally gets the city's name back on the jerseys.
