I see the Texans hanging in there but losing. We really don't match up well with the Colts like the other teams we played. We couldn't contain Steve Smith and the Colts have Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez, along with Dallas Clark. We may be able to shut down the run and put more pressure on Peyton than years past but our secondary in no way can handle the Colts. But if they can give the Colts a run for their money it'll be damn exciting.
I gotta say it was exciting to hear on espn last night, during a "pretender or contender" segment on the surprising 2-0 teams, that they actaully said the Texans are a contender. They also said why... our front 7 is dominant. FYI... 67% of teams that start off 2-0, go to the playoffs. 16% of teams that start off 0-2, dont.
This I understand (the Texans have 2 out of 3 odds I'm not ready to say yet, but it *does* give me a warm fuzzy). Huh?? If 16% of teams that start 0-2 don't make the playoffs, does that mean that the other 84% do??? That's hard to believe. And it would make the Texans of the last five years very special indeed. Only 16% of teams that start off losing 2 out of 2 games can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory enough times to avoid the NFL playoffs! Are you sure about that number???
