After another exciting college football day, who are your top Heisman candidates.

    1) Mcfadden
    2) Booty
    3) Slaton
    4) I think Brohm was replaced by Woodson (KY)
    5) Jackson (Cal) this dude is a burner
    6) Dixon (Or) didn't play yesterday but this dude is a true vince young clone
    7) Brennan

    Others.

I for one am a huge mcfadden fan, that dude is eric dickerson reincarnated and dickerson is still alive. a total package football player. Jackson is very exciting, a reggie bush type but more of a receiver than running back. Brennan will put up his numbers but he may get no love in Hawaii. Slaton is good but may have votes cancelled out by teamate Pat White. Dixon is like Vince, maybe a stronger arm, nuff said. he's also fun to watch. And the kid Woodson also has a gun. And of course Booty just keeps the dynasty rolling. He really has no competition on his on team, unlike recent USC teams.

At this point in the season, though it will not end up this way, it should look more like this...

    (1) -- Tim Tebow = Sick stats, leading one of the more dominant teams
    (2) -- Colt Brennan = 77% completion, 12 TD to 1 INT, and 3-0 start
    (3) -- Steve Slaton = Racking up the Yards and TD's for high-powered WV
    (4) -- Sam Bradford = Has been fantastic for the suddenly awe-inspiring Sooners, but as a Freshman, has zero-to-none chance at ultimately winning the Heisman.
    (5) -- Booty = Leader of the nation's number 1 team
    (6) -- Mcfadden = Will end up higher on this list, for sure, but his team just lost to an unranked opponent (through no fault of him -- 200 yards)..but the loss automatically drops him out of the top 5 the morning after. As more top teams begin to lose their first games, he will start to slide back up this chart, and has as good of a chance as any to claim the prize.

I like watching tebow, but he maybe too young, which is more unfair than being punished by your team's record.

And Graham Harrell is leading the nation at 439 yards passing per game with 14 touchdowns  His numbers are about the same if not a little better than Brennan's.

Dennis Dixon did play yesterday against Fresno, actually. Here are his numbers:

14 of 20 passing, 139 yds and 2 td's. 8 carries for 59 yards rushing with a TD on the ground.

Oh, and I'm not sure if he'll be in the running, but I love watching Desean Jackson play at Cal. However, that team is showing they have tons of weapons with Best, Hawkins, Forsett, etc. He may not get enough touches, though getting those return opportunities help.

Right now, I like a few players, but there is a chance they'll lose too much to be in the running. (Hart, McFadden, just to name a few.)

I still like Brohm. Why would you take him off the list? Because his team lost to Kentucky. He still had 80 more passing yards than Woodson did. Woodson still hasn't thrown for 300 yards yet this year and only did it twice last year.

67% completion, 380 ypg average, 11 TD 1 INT, 3 games into the season isn't good enough to be considered a top candidate?

No disrespect to bradford but he is really, at least at this stage, a high percentage dink & dunker (like Colt McCoy to an extent). Guys like that are effective quarterbacks, but I really don't thik the Jason Whites or Chris Weinkes of the universe need to many more heisman trophies.

He throws a pretty accurate pass and made several nice passes. Malcolm Kelly has put up nice numbers.

Don't be mislead by his high completion percentage. He's thrown some very nice deep balls this year.

Ray Rice - #1 in scoring, #2 in overall rushing yards. Rice is also better than Slaton.

Tebow should be the frontrunner for this award. Physical freak with an amazing arm.

That kid is a statue. Colt can at least make some plays with his feet.

If Michigan wins the Big12 Mike Hart should get it. That is the guts and soul of that team. But as of today it's McFadden in a landslide.

Even though I like McFadden, and he is on top of most boards right now, I am not sure it is so certain at this point.
