Funny how being the single worst player on the team and then whining about not playing more would not engender more fan support.

Why does the Greek team use straw for shoe laces?

That is an obvious fake. It is full of splices and inserted frames. In the 3.7th second, you can see a cow in the far upper left corner. This is proof that some portion of the staged production was shot in a barn!

That's definitely a fake, as the game USA-Greece in 2006 was a fake at least the way it was broadcasted on TV.

Here are the true facts as witnessed by a Greek villager who watched the game in Japan:

Greeks had several things working for them:

The baskets they were using in the Greek barns were much narrower and the watermellons they used as basketballs came with different shapes and sizes, using the same type of basketball in every game was a piece of cake for them.

They used sneaky ways in defense:

    1. the fish-net D
Whenever an American guard would slash to the basket members of the coaching team would throw fishnet to their feet, Americans would slip and fall, that means +1 TO for US and A and +1 steal for the Greeks.

    2. in the second quarter the Greece team coach benched all 5 players that were on court and replaced them with big Santorini donkey's. Those donkeys started kicking US butts literally and created a frenzy on courts when they tried to run the fast breaks

In the offense they would use:

    1. the power of Zeus to make 3-pointers and they also had a big black dude, who lived on a specific double pita souvlaki mediterranean diet thus became totally impossible to guard for two reasons:
    a. he had a huge ass and he would just work his way to the basket with his back
    b. the smell of tzatziki from the pita gyros that Schortsanitisidopoulosidis-******-opoulos was so bad that anyone who would try to come closer to him would instantly faint

    2. the unbeatable duo in pg and sg positions of Spanoulis and Borat. Yes that's right, Borat after the cultural learnings that he received from US&A he went to Greece on a special collaboration with Kazakhstan to dominate the world based on three facts: the export of Potassium, olive oil and great basketball game. Borat himself is a great baller, as you can see he has a great lean and long body with unsurpassed athleticism. Spanoulis would pass the ball and Borat finished with dunks. The cable TV never showed that just because the film was edited by Greek and Kazakhi stations. Borat was impressed by VSpan but saw a weakness w.r.t. his jumpshot, so Borat made a bet that he would cut his moustache and VSpan would shave his beard, only if Spanoulis made a real 3-pointer and not the fake ones that are broadcasted. Needless to say Borat still enjoys his moustache making jokes of VSpan's shot and VSPan still looks like a caveman.

Please believe me every word is real and I have the documents to prove it, they are very well kept by the Kazakhi government and will be disclosed when needed.

That p*ssy had 24 points tonight in the semifinal against Spain but Greece lost 82-77 that sould teach them (spain with 28/29 FT's a fricken 96 % ). But hey he can't do it in the nba ( spain's five : RudyFernandez, calderon,Reyes,Gasol,Garbahosa u don't see any Nbaer's in there do u?)
that lucky b*stard he did it once who does he think he is anyway? oh yea he did last year against usa too i forgot , and he had that lucky buzzer beater this thread is talking about ,lucky b*stard.
Spanoulis is no longer a Rocket so threads about him should stop but some posters around here should keep watching high school games or the wnba they're so fond of and leave the nba or international leagues to real grown up MEN ( u know who u are). By the way Scola needs time and everybody should stop adding pressure to him ( thank god he doesn't have to deal with VG and his way of developing rookies).
P.S if my post rubbs u the wrong way my advice is
    SIT ON IT AND SPIN

I don't understand the hate by people like SamFisher against this guy. He's a former Rocket, so I'll root for him against teams which do not have former Rockets...

I'm so cheap, larry craig asked me for an extra piece of TP and I wouldn't give it to him.

But just for that, I will come to your house, knock the tar out of you, and tag you in the bum till you take that back, you mean boy.

While I appreciate that graphic I think the phrase, "I could care less," still applies. Spanoulis won the game for Greece, hmm I could care less. The word, "could" is predicated on the fact that the person cares at all. I could care less, IF I cared, but since I don't care one iota, I'm not going to. That's how much I don't care about it, so much so that I'm not even going to care, BUT if I did, it would be less. :)
