Sorry to hear about this. My dog died in January. You don't realize how much you love them until they're gone.
Sorry to hear that Its funny because I never understood how people could be so shook up or sad about losing a dog, until I got my own. Now I understand, I don't know how I would take it if my dog died.
sorry to hear that tim. RIP Rocket. I don't understand how people can just drive off. My wife and I were coming home from the store not too long ago and this happened to some lady. We stopped and I had to help her get her dog in her car, the soccer mom that hit it apparently didn't want to stop. The cable guy left the gate open and their dogs got out. Tough. Enjoy your pets while their around, they don't live long enough.
A girl tried to call in a sick day for work a couple weeks ago because her dog died. The ******* manager tells her "That doesn't count", and made her come in anyway. I felt like quitting just so I could cuss him out. If anything ever happened to my cat, I'd need the time for myself. Sorry for your loss, but know that you guys outlived him for a reason - you were meant to bring that same love into another animal's life too.
My parents are robots and I'm the devil spawn created from robot sex. Make sense? lol Yea...I plan on taking a good week off when I lose one or both of my Ridgebacks. I'm really dreading the day. They are starting to hobble due to arthritis. I'll probably end up dying myself due to the heart break of it all.
Why would you try to call in sick and then say your dog died? I don't see that working very well, either. Just say "I'm sick".
Nah, she just wanted a personal day. It shouldn't be any different from the company's standpoint than taking a day off to bury your grandma.
I called in, and gave that very reason. He gave me a little hell, but if I go to work, I'm not even going to be worth anything anyway. Just give me the day off dammit.
