How do you go about finding out if an idea, item, phrase, or word has been legally protected; ex. patented copyrighted, trademarked, etc.? What if you have one of these things and you want to protect it or register it? How much does it cost?
For only $19.99, I'll send you my patented course on how to patent your ideas. Act now, and I'll even include my bonus CD Pack "How to Sell You Ideas" including tools for making marketing materials, sample brochures and letterhead.
I'm pretty sure "maybe maybe no" has already been copyrighted. I'm not sure about "It's summer people suppose get horny" or "Hispanic?"
http://www.inventors.org/ <-- good place to start your research and http://www.patentstuff.com an idea, item, <-- patentable but for an idea it would have to very well fleshed out . . .Ideas really cannot be patented in that they are intangible. You can perhaps patent a process . . .software, etc but just going . . Flying Car. . . unless you do drawings about HOW it can be done. . .won't cut it phrase, or word <-- I beleive these fall under copyrights and trademarks Rocket River
http://www.uspto.gov/web/trademarks/workflow/start.htm This is the free gov site, it is easy to use and full of info. edit: I forgot the link to tess http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=tess&state=tra0nd.1.1 that is the trademark search site, I have used this before applying for trademarks and it is a good source for finding competitors trademarks that have lapsed (in case you ever need to play hard ball)
