Nah Hakeem is more than 1.25" inches taller than T-Mac. I've searched for the measurements and it seems a board always pops up with these 2 basketball fans a Lebron and Vince Carter fan posting links to pre-draft measurements. T-Mac looks his measured 6'6.25" next to Hakeem. T-Mac gives the impression of someone much taller because of his wingspan and lanky frame. How tall is Clyde? I love that picture. That was my favorite Rocket team. Hakeem in his prime and Clyde at the end of his prime. Hakeem also looks a good 3 inches shorter than Shaq who is 7'1" and has a 7'6" wingspan

That's not saying much considering the relative length of Willis' arms. However, I never did understand the T-Rex comparison. T-Rex had short, puny arms. Willis has thick, extremely muscular arms -- albeit short for his size.
man, i was at that event from 2 summer's ago. i know hakeem was wearing dress shoes, but i will concede that i believe you are correct. i saw another picture of tracy and carter standing side by side and tracy was maybe an inch taller. i just wish the nba would measure draftees and foreign free agents (bare feet) so they would have an accurate height measurement. steve nash is listed at 6'3" - give me a break!
Nash measured just 6'1". You are lucky to have been at the event! Did you meet Hakeem or Tracy? The height thing is weird...you have 7'1" listed Shaq towering over 7'0" listed Hakeem by 3-4 inches.
tracy's charity softball tournament. i remember hakeem only came out to the field to be introduced (didn't play) with the players who were actually playing. hakeem spent all of his time in the private banquet hall where the players, their guests, and sponsors were eating a catered bbq meal. unfortunately, tracy is not very social with his fans. but robert horry, sam cassell, nick van exel, damon jones, jl3, deke, francis, james, bo outlaw, jermaine o'neal, james posey, luther, ab, and kirk snyder are friendly. rapper mike jones is very friendly and signs all autograph requests. tracy's 1st softball tournament held in league city 3 years ago, stephon marbury was very friendly, as well as antawn jamison. lebron had a bodyguard protecting him from the fans.
