They just don't make teeny bopper shows like they used to.

    Saved by the Bell
    Clarissa Explains It All
    Hey Dude
    Salute Your Shorts
    Welcome Freshman

    THAT was some quality television...

I read somewhere that Disney was trying to decide between naming the character Hannah Montana or Alexis Texas. Interesting.

That would have been hilarious if they had went the other way but if they had the other Alexis Texas probably would have chosen a different name. :D

You are more right than you think. Google.

Probably, because otherwise the other Alexis Texas would have gotten sued by Disney's high power lawyers. Disney is kind of a b**** to deal with any time they think you are infringing on their intellectual property. The only company that I know pursues such things more aggressively is Lucas Arts. Whether they are right or not, they want to make sure the alleged infringer incurrs a ton of legal expenses.

All those shows sucked except Save by the Bell and Salute Your Shorts.

"Camp Anawanah, we hold you in our hearts, and when I think about you it makes me WANNA FART!"

I also liked that other show where it was like an obstacle course and it was like a temple themed course. Damnit I can't think of it.

When the hell is Brenda Song gonna get her own show? She's hot and legal (or is that too old for Disney).

Also, I can't believe these damn shows are killing animation right now, (well not all animation, SpongeBob, FoP, and Avatar are still ratings toppers). I guess the days of quality cartoons like the "Disney Afternoon" are long gone.

That was Legends of the Hidden Temple. My friends and I watch reruns of that on Nick GAS.

Yeah, early to mid 90's Nickelodeon was pretty much the pinnacle of TV for me

haha...I just searched for that exact show when I was listing the others. That was Nickelodeon's one pathetic attempt at a serious drama

Speaking of which, I thought GUTS was pretty cool at the time. Kind of like American Gladiators (minus the gladiators) for kids.

Kam, I'm not trying to be facetious. What's the crowd like when you go to stuff like this? Do you stick out like a sore thumb surrounded by 13 yr old girls?) or is the crowd mixed enough where no one notices you?

Sometimes he is surrounded by 6 to 8 year old girls and their parents in addition to the 13 year olds!
