And it continues...South Florida just won @ Auburn in OT. On a much smaller scale, Abeline Christian kicked the s*** out of Texas State 45-27.
In the battle of losers, Notre Dame will beat Michigan next week. I'm not high on Henne, but if he misses next week it will be hard for Michigan to win, against anyone. That freshman QB is way too raw and isn't ready for anything but mop up time.
not according to mike hart, he guaranteed a win. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=272510130
I could have told you that was going to happen. Auburn was damn lucky to beat Kansas State last week (K-State had like 7 15 yard penalties). They are always so overrated.
To lose by 18 points would hardly constitute getting the "****" beat out of you. Now if you lost by 38 like the University of Miami, then yes, you could say that they got the "****" beat out of them (and I say that as a Miami fan).
Considering that it was at one point 28-0 and that ACU is Division II...I'll guess I can take it down a notch and call it a simple ass kicking.
False bravado. All N.D. needs to do is stack the line and stop Hart. Every pass by that freshman Michigan QB is a disaster waiting to happen.
That freshman QB (Ryan Mallet) was the second highest rated QB coming out of highschool. Some argued that he was better than ND's Clausen. Total gunslinger with an NFL ready arm. ...And he's from Texarkana.
I'm not doubting that. His arm strength looked great against Oregon but he ain't ready yet. His brain and understanding haven't caught up with his arm. Clausen is further along at the moment, IMO. Neither guy will be able to lead their team to a bowl game. I want Michigan to win because I dislike Notre Dame. I want to see the pressure bear down on Charlie Weiss like it did on Ty Willingham. If they lose to Michigan, Notre Dame could possibly start the season 0-8 before they play Navy. Michigan State is the only other game of their first 8 that is winnable. So the Les Miles to Michigan talk is already starting.
Yeah if you at the all the other stats you would think UH won the game. UH just turned the ball over too many times which lead to points. Oh well.
