Great video. I still have the 2nd half of the game 6 blowout on my computer. I'll never get tired of watching it because seeing the Mavs crater like that is too enjoyable. Shirk should be ashamed of himself.

I like Avery Johnson. It was his great coaching that allowed the Mavs to achieve the great regular season record that exceeded their true talent level.

hahahahaha. I love it. I didn't realize Avery didn't play the starters against the Warriors and that that may have been the sole reason they beat out the Clippers for the playoffs. Amazing!

Even though they rested the starters, my gues is the warrioirs would have beatenthe mavs even if they did play the starters.
    because:
    a) they beat them 7 out of 9 games last season
    b) the warriors played for a chance to go to the play offs, the mavs wouldn't have played for anything.

So even though it is funny the starters were rested, i think it wouldn't have mattered either way.

Yeah, that last game had nothing to do with it. However, if those idiot Kings would've just beat the Lakers, then Lakers would be 8th seed.

That's why I really wanted Warriors to win, so they had a chance for the 7th seed. If Mavs did end up beating them, they would've still been the 8th seed.

No big deal, new season starts in 2 months! They have another chance to take out their anger yet again. That's always the best form of retaliation.

Amazing video. Gave me a never ending orgasm right down to the credits.

By upsetting the Mavericks in that series, Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, Jason Richardson, and that GS Warriors team instantly lifted themselves into the Sports Pantheon of Houston alongside the great Clyde Drexler, and the one, the only, DREAM.

I think a lot of people are going to take their anger out on the Mavs. Teams like the rebuilt Rockets, Jazz, Warriors, Suns and world champion Spurs.

Too bad I don't think GS will have a repeat season like they had last year. Richardson is gone and it seems like some of its current players there don't even want to be there.

That's fine if it happens. But why do you say that?

Can't I argue some teams tried to take their anger out on the Mavs last year (being they made it to the Finals the year before). Obviously it didn't happen. They won 67 games. The only team that succeeded was the Warriors.

I'm sorry... but the fact that the Mavs have WASTED two GOLDEN opportunities to win a championship, when it was seemingly all there for them, IS a big deal.

These opportunities don't grow on trees... history shows that they may never get as good of a chance at a championship as they had the last two years.

And if you need a refresher, just ask the early 90's Suns about when they're going back to the finals (hell, ask the current Suns).

you know what really annoyed me about the first video was the never ending fade and "narration" it really broke up the flow of the video having to read all this stuff and then using the same fade each time.

other than that yeah it was cool

What you are saying is true. But don't think they are getting much older. Dirk is still only 29 and Howard is only 27. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Mavs have made it to the playoffs every year this decade. I think 5 times they made it past the first round. '06 they made it to the Finals and '03 they were one game away. My point is, they're still a top team in this league.

As for the Suns, they would've made it this year if it wasn't for Stern/Refs. But then again, if it wasn't for the refs and their love for Wade, Mavs would have indeed won the Championship in '06. Also, where were the Heat this past year? They barely even made it to the playoffs. If Mavs mentality was to win one and forget the rest, then I'm glad they lost. I enjoyed this past season, it's as simple as that. Sure it sucked losing in the playoffs, but the better team won. They deserved it. And it was definitely entertaining.

I don't want to rub it in, but Rockets just wasted the last 4 years, period. JVG and co was a complete joke and waste of time. They're finally using their heads and getting things straightened out. But the fact is, they only made it to the playoffs 3 times in 9 years. Twice they were up 2-0 and still ended up losing. Talking about the Mavs and their missed opportunities is fine by me, but isn't this a bigger problem? I would think so. But then again, I'm not a Rockets fan who hates the Mavs. It just seems that some of you hate the Mavs more than you love the Rockets. And if that is the case, then that's also not a problem with me. It's actually very flattering for some odd reason.

Getting past the first round is a thing in itself. Just the game day feeling is something worth living for. Other than NFL playoffs, there's nothing like it. I'm sorry you guys haven't experienced it in SO LONG! Maybe this is finally the year, but I certainly hope not, for I CANNOT STAND TMAC!

I forgot to mention, if the Mavs ended up advancing I don't think they would've been able the beat the Spurs anyways.

So yeah, 2 months, no big deal
