I don't understand why the Saints even drafted him. As if having Duece and Reggie wasn't enough fire power in the backfield. Pittman averaged over 5 yards a carry at Ohio State. I'd take a shot at him, he was a 4th round pick. However, it turns out he was beaten out of the job by an undrafted rookie named Pierre Thomas.
Is Chris Taylor still on the roster? Practice squad or something? I'd pick up Pittman. the running back crop scares me a little. they're all old and passed their prime. Green has a little left perhaps. Dayne...not so much. Gado is here because of Sherman. Having Taylor and Pittman could turn out to be something real good in the future. If the Texans aren't good again this year, McFadden could be the guy. Let's hope it doesn't get to that, though.
