Man, I freakin love to go to high school sporting events! Tonight, we watched Clear Creek volleyball beat Clear Brook 3 games to 1, then we walked next door to District Stadium to catch the second half of Creek versus Kingwood in football. Creek won that one 41-30.

A good night to be a Creek Wildcat fan! My son plays for the sophomore basketball team, and next year my daughter will be on the freshman volleyball team. I wonder if I can buy an all sports season pass? :D

Is Clear Brook or Clear Lake considered the bigger rival for Creek?

Do they still have the "Army" (forgot the name) boosters in the stands supporting Creek volleyball?

Does your daughter play Club and what position does she play?

Are you sure this isn't another high school musical thread in disguise? :)

Lake is the biggest rival by far. Creek v. Lake is an event you don't want to miss, no matter what sport.

There is a huge turnout of students for all the volleyball games, but I don't recall a name for them

Yes, she plays club ball. She's good. She's an outside hitter.

Agreed. I take my boys to Stratford football, basketball and baseball games. Great cheap entertainment! :)

I've worked for the high School Xtra for the past 9yrs, and too be honest, although I've seen some incredible sports moments, I really sick of High School Sports. I work 9-5 Monday through wednesday, 9am-10 or 11pm on thursdays, and then 9am to 1am on fridays. Now today I've got to be at work from about 4pm until 11pm. It's gotten to where I dread the HS football season..I've lost interest because of the hours. Currently, I'm loooking for a new job because by the time my kids get to High School, I Want to be able to enjoy HS sports again. I've seen some great stuff..I'm just over it right now.
