If I remember correctly, the Kings used an 8-man rotation against the Lakers. They should be very tired.

We can do this. We have enough rest, and we have the players. I thikn our backcourt won't explode, but Kenny Thomas and Glen Rice will have big games.

    Da Bull 212
    Sacramento 8

My hope is that Charlotte trades Bull for a pack of smokes and some cookies. Bull explodes in his first game points for a 212 point first half. After that, Rudy sits him and the Rockets D gives up 8 points in a defensive struggle.

The strong, forceful mojo thread....I like mojo thread... Thanks ZRB..

Rockets will kick the **** out of the Kings even if it wasn't a back to back...

Vladi's old, Staja can't shoot and Bibby can't pass...Rox will win behind the leadership of Kelly 100 - 81....

I would love to see Rudy put Cat on Peja on the defensive end. He has been great on defense this year and Peja is their number 1, 2, 3, and 4 option without Webber. I would also like to see Cato on Pollard instead of Kenny. I know K9 is playing well, but Pollard and Divac are both centers and he is just too undersized to guard them. Bring him off of the bench to whoop up on Fundy. Divac will torture Willis with his veteran savvy (read: constant flopping), but at least Willis is not a shot-blocker so that should reduce the number of BS fouls somewhat. Obviously our backcourt is far superior. I think the key to this game might just be winning the rebounding battle again.

Bring on the Kings, to two Kings that usually killed us were Webber and Williams, and neither is around. What should help the Rockets is that the Kings are playing their 2nd game in 2 tonight, but the Kings have a deep bench. I say run them. The Rockets offense seems to be kicking it into gear, I say the final score will be:

    Rockets 101
    Kings 92

Bottom line, the Kings are tired from dealing with the Lakers last night and are riped for whipping.

However, Pedaj is going to kill our 3 spot, which is Walt or Rice, I see him going for 30 plus. Calling Terrence Morris or Oscar Torres for some D.

The Rockets will win by less than 10.

After pouring their soul into the laker game, Kings will be ill prepared to face a rockets team they do not recognize.

The rocket's slick win over the mavs will be a huge confident boost. They will fall off their shooting to a bit tonight, but nothing to the degree we saw earlier in the year.

    final score:
    Rockets 100
    Kings 96

So do the Kings without Webber still suck?

They beat the Spurs by 20. They almost beat an angry LA on their home floor. But all some of you do is look at them on paper and come away convinced that we should blow them out. There are more factors than paper in sports; otherwise Tampa Bay (NFL) and Portland would be winning all the championships.

The Kings, without Webber, don't have one premier star. They push the ball up the floor. They attack. They all know how to pass, even the big men. The way they play is beautiful to watch, and their teamwork, chemistry, etc. is just brilliant. Yes, the Rockets played a bad game, but even if we played a good game I'm not sure if we could've won. I'm not sure if any team could've won. The Kings are a very good basketball team, even when Webber isn't in the lineup.

SandB/Bill - Well I sure owe you a big apology. Last summer I blasted you and told you the Rockets were a better team than the Kings without Webber.

I wish there were a way to give you back Jason Williams and for the Rockets to have never gotten Glen Rice.....

The Rockets are just not going to be able to compete until they learn to pass the ball around...something all of the Kings do well.
