A bunch of teams have already done this to their courts, nothing new.

But it's a huge improvement over last year.

    EDIT: Milwaukee was another team

Maybe that's why we are a better road team cause it crosses T-Mac's eyes up trying to read through that red glare ;)

damn, they should have just painted the entire three point area in red.

the first thing i thought of when i saw our new court was the suns court. it should be better though. it would match the white jerseys.

yeah it reminds me of the cavs court and last year the first thing i said when i saw the cavs court was:

    damn that is hideous

sigh the one thing i wish they did to make it look more to my liking is the out of bounds reds again like the old court i am sure it would make it easier on the players to see the boundaries better.

They shoulda done it similar to the Charlotte Hornets court years ago. With the red inside the 3pt line to the box which would be wood grain or whatever you call it.

anybody remember the rockets home court they tried to do when the dildo logo era began? That was pretty neat imho.

The only real difference is that there's less red and more white. When I first read the title, I thought they were going to totally change the logo and court design.

We should just go back to the Championship colors....only way i see that happening is if the rockets were somehow guaranteed a championship.

You mean the one with the blue on the ouside of the court with the stars painted and the three point line inside also had all blue with stars painted with the "R" logo!? Yeah that was a kick ass court back in 1996.

Anyone have an image of it!?

As for the new look court, I don't like it! Why is the NBA turing these courts all into white, light wood!?

Yeah, that was an awesome court. If I'm not mistaken, the NBA office had an issue with that court. I think they said it was too cluttered. Can't blame 'em though....the court was too busy with colors.

I seem to remember the players not liking it much either cause it was too distracting.

Think it had something to do with how it looked on TV.

    any pics of this.

btw, does this mean Yao will have ZERO points in the paint this year

Dang, that Adelman high-post offense is already affecting Yao's points down low
