I haven,t been on in a while, but when I look through what you have said so many of you wanna trade Griffen. HE IS THE FUTURE FOR THE ROCKETS. WITH HIM WE ARE LOST AND WE JUST LOST THE CHANCE TO RESIGN FRANCIS.wHATS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS. You wanna ship Griffen away for Mr. Odom.Who can't stop puffing the magic dragon. Come on!!! :mad:Have you lost I mean Griffen wil be 10 times better than odom at his fuulfilled potenial. Even if Griffen doesnt fulfill his potenail he will be 5 times better than Odom.

This Kenyon Dooling thing ins't bad if you are Carrol Daswon and can't stop smoking weed. And you forget who your franchise player is. Stevie will be one of the best players in the league. I say the way Steve goes is the way the Rockets go. So if Steve is traded I say The Rockets should move because Houston will no longer want to be in ###ociatoin with a franchise that dumps great players off. So I am so happy you are not the Gm for the Rockets or we would be in deep S!@#, verse.

    Vince,

I fully agree with your post, and I'm relieved to hear someone else echo my thoughts. Francis is untradeable, and I would never want to get rid of him due to how well he fits in our new style.

    Btw, McGrady can stop Carter.

    Vince,
We would probably be a bit more impressed with your ability to evaluate talent if you knew how to spell "Griffin". :D

Francis is the reason Griffin is here and just about any other player thats here now with the rockets.
No matter what Les might own the rockets but Francis controls the moves and who goes.

Anybody see griff play last night he came right in and played his roll.

But again its amazing when the team wins just about everyone praises them and when they lose well its Trade time!!! Its so stupid.
6-4 not bad. not bad at all.;)

Some of you guys are funny as hell :D

    - "HE IS THE FUTURE FOR THE ROCKETS. WITH HIM WE ARE LOST AND WE JUST LOST THE CHANCE TO RESIGN FRANCIS"

Thats funny. I dont think Francis and Griff are so tite that if we traded Griff he wouldnt resign with us. I am in no way advocating a trade for Griffin. I am hoping and thinking he will turn out to be a superstar. But if we were to get some crazy ass deal like Rasheed or KG or something of that caliber we would be crazy not to do it. It makes the team much better and we are getting an established superstar.

    - "Have you lost I mean Griffen wil be 10 times better than odom at his fuulfilled potenial. Even if Griffen doesnt fulfill his potenail he will be 5 times better than Odom."

Are you God? Odom is already an awesome player. I dont see how anyone in the league can be 10 or even 5 times better then Odom. I just dont think thats possible. And as to say a 19 yr old rookie, averaging 10 min per game is definitely going to be better then Odom is just riduculous.

    - "Francis is the reason Griffin is here and just about any other player thats here now with the rockets.
No matter what Les might own the rockets but Francis controls the moves and who goes. "

I dont think Griffin is here because of Francis. What does Francis have to do with Griffin being here? Griffin is here because Rudy and CD made it happen. And I also highly doubt Francis "controls" the moves the Rockets make. Yeah I am sure Rudy and CD ask him and Mobley for their input, but its not solely based on the guards decision. We are here to win a championship, not to collect a bunch of little friends for Francis.

Wrong again the one way to keep a player is to make him happy!
Francis not happy francis goes. end of story

Griffin became a rocket because of Francis and Terrence morris<stevies college bud> clearly visible to the naked eye.
Draft TMO and lets go with Griffin I promise you Francis does more than play ball he also puts his input in more than the average player.
Without Francis you have NO RUDY and NO MOBLEY and NO NORRIS.
Flame all you want but this is Clearly Francis Team!

Rockets wanna win but they also know when Francis is a free agent they wanna make sure they have done all they can to keep the future of this organization happy!

Stop hallucinating guys, no one is gonna offer an established young player for a rookie who can become great. Only the Bulls do that kind of thing.

Griffin is not going anywhere. If there's anyone you should be worried about, it's Kenny Thomas after this season.

His tradevalue would be up because of all the minutes, Mo Taylor just signed a huge contract, Eddie Griffin should play. Who's the odd man out?

I'd pull a trade for Griffin if it meant receiving a player of proven caliber. Griffin is RAW talent. We've only seen glimpses of his talent thus far. He likes to take 3s though- reminds me of Horry.

And here I was thinking Rudy helped trade for Francis when clearly it was the other way around.

Some of you people have the intellect of a 2 year old.... lol Eddie isnt the whole key to Houston future... and Steve dosnt dictate who we draft... TMO was a second round pick...big deal if he pans out good if not oh well...he and steve had played together in MD and the year before was a projected lottery pics.... it didnt take Steve talking to les to pull that off....its a descent gamble.... The key for houston this year is if Rice ever comes around and avgs 13-15 game and decent 3pt %..... with steve at 20, mobley at 20, rice 13,willis 10,kenny10-12 that isnt to bad as far as point avg for starting 5...and then you throw in walt,Moochi,Cato, and ohh yes the KEY Eddie...lol-- Honestly he has some AWSOME deffensive talent and a nice stroke...but he will take a year or two before he is a KEY with the rox....

Dontcha just hate that? Before KT it was Othella. And I guess you could even go back farther and say before that it was Horry (though aside from the Finals, I'd say all his work was from the SF position). I swear, we produce some of the hardest working utility PFs only to trade them away later.

EXACTLY!!! You are on the money.

Make no mistake..I love Griffin's potential but if we knew he'd be 15 times better than ODOM, we could conclude that he'd be at least 4 times better than Duncan and 3 times better than Kobe. Therefore, I propose that we trade him for Duncan and Kobe in a three-way and use this thread as evidence.

Vince...expect to be in Houston for negotiations. This will be a great trade for us even though we lose a little by letting Griffin go.
