I highly recommend getting the MediaZone pass for this tournament. I'm watching the France/Italy game and it is exciting as hell! The crowd is absolutely wild and the play is much more competitive than anything FIBA Americas had to offer.

40 people cheering in las vegas wasn't an atmosphere? :)
thanks for the link. I'm hoping that Spain wins it all. even though navarro will miss an entire week, they are the deepest team.

Darko Milicic's rant after the Serbia-Greece game:

"If I see the referees I'm going to kill them! I will f*** them! I will f*** their mothers! If they have any daughters, I'm going to find them and f*** them as well!"

He actually said all that live, on camera, on Serbian television. :D

I heard about that. He was fine for 10,000 euros. If darko brings that anger with him next season, he will be worth the big contract they gave him.

Span just made a buzzer beating 3 to help Greece beat Croatia. That is right after he fouled Popovic unnecessarily with 7 seconds left with Croatia being 2 pts behind. Popovic tied the game with 2 FTs.

So Span turned to a hero from a goat in the matter of seconds. :)

He was ordered from the coach to commit the foul actually, and it was the best decision imho. The worst that could happen was the match going to overtime. Croatia had hit some big threes before so if they weren't fouled, they would have probably gone for a winning three. They beat Spain a couple of days ago in the same way.
