http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/metro/20070901-9999-1m1airline.html Saw this on Digg. Kinda sad, but some of the quotes in the story are hilarious. Looks like the Office of Propaganda and Disinformation is working overtime these days instilling continued fear in the hearts of every good American.

"She heard him “clunking around” inside the bathroom. When he came out, he had a suspicious look on his face, she said." maybe the flight attendant was hot and he got excited , things happen
This woman needs to be informed about the statistics of vehicle deaths…. On a serious note, I blame the media…
It's too bad there isn't a way to punish this lady, like banning her from ever flying again or making her pay American Airlines the cost of the delay.
For asking off a flight? She didn't make the airline delay the flight. She didn't force the curfew, she didn't force questioning of the men. No one even had to know why she wanted off the plane. If the airline doesn't question the men, there is no lawsuit.
If she quietly informed the attendants to let her off I don't have a problem with her. If she started acting crazy then I do.
Wow, I just kind of hope she stops judging people on their appearance; or at least keeping those judgements to herself.
Um... it sounds like her demand IS what caused the delay. Maybe they'd already pulled away from the gate? I agree the men shouldn't have been questioned, but the entire mess wouldn't have happened if Mrs. Whitebread hadn't freaked out in the first place.
No one had to know why she wanted off the plane? Say what? She "demanded" to be let off and her reasons caused the men to be questioned. It's pretty simple. Maybe you forget the day and age we live in. In an event like this, AA would be considered irresponsible by some to NOT question these guys. They were put in a "no win" situation. I understand what you mean but it's very easy for you to say AA should have just let her off and continued the flight. But in reality it's not an easy thing to do. My 2 cents is people should be penalized for delaying flights once the doors close unless they have a valid reason, like a medical emergency. Let me give you another situation (and I'll leave it vague to avoid flaming). A friend of mine had boarded a very long international flight from Newark. A certain group of people in coach went ballistic insisting on being upgraded to first class. Before takeoff, they caused such a ruckus the plane went back to the gate. Turns out they caused the ruckus because they realized some friends of theirs were not on board. Of course, the plane goes back to the gate, their friends end up getting on, no one gets off and the flight was over 3 hours late. The rest of the passengers were irate and the airline lost thousands of dollars because of the delay. Another example: A friend of mine's wife was working the flight where Osteen's wife flipped out. Not to rehash the story but she was COMPLETELY out of line and it's disgusting she never took full responsibility for it. I could give you more examples. The point is, when you choose to board the aircraft, fall in line and don't be a jerk. If not, don't fly.
and some people here think that the brave americans assisting us in Iraq shouldn't have the right to sue this racist b**** for treating them like terrorists.
