If Deke doesn't resign would you take Doleac for Alston?

On two conditions, the heat take reed's contract. And filler does not include that scrub chris quinn. If that guy ever come within 5 feet of ever wearing a rockets uni, im gonna shoot myself.

 

even with quinn as the filler, i don't think that trade works with the salary cap restrictions. it would have to be rafer for doleac by himself.

 

I would have done it before the supposed stabbing. Hell, at this point I'd throw in a second rounder or 2.

 

I'd do it even if we did sign Deke.

Edit: I'd even take Howard back for Rafer, Reed and Lucas

I would be happy to give rafer away for a TE and then let it expires to save some capsroom for the team. Same applies to Reed and LucasIII. Though I don't know who are interested in these guys and with capsroom to generate a TE for us.

 

I think I'd rather have "2 sandwiches" Hamilton.

 

Rafer has some trade value. Doleac doesn't. Rafer can play, in the very least, decently. Doleac can't. Rafer has skills no other player in the roster has (bricking threes included). Doleac hasn't.

My three paths for Rafer:

Trade in a package for a better player
Trade for a decent young prospect
Trade for picks

 

Doleac has an expiring contract, plays the high post position as a center, he is already more valuable to the Rockets than Reefer.

Iakovos Tsakalidis in Olympiakos!!!

According to the Greek basketball web betsmart.gr, the Greek giant Iakovos Tsakalidis (218-C-79), ex NBAer agreed terms with Olympaikos for two years, accroding to anotehr Greek web, basketblog.gr the Greek center's agent went firstly to the Panathinaikos management and received a negative reply!!!!

(must be a greek trying to spell english).

 

No, the best we can hope for is going to be to trade an asset with Rafer for an expiring. No one is giving a decent young prospect for a guy with this much baggage and they sure as hell aren't going to give a better player.
